Any way to stop ESO+ trial notification spam?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or the intended functionality but ever since I activated the free ESO Plus trial every time I log in or switch characters I get sent a notification asking me if I want to know how ESO Plus works. Even if I didn't already know this seems excessive - I don't need to be told again every time I switch characters.
I've tried all 3 buttons (confirm, dismiss and ?) and none of them seem to stop the notification spam. Is there something I'm missing? 5 days of this is going to get annoying, even when I'm not playing much.

Erris✭✭✭There's a great add-on called "No, Thank You!" that will get rid of all that and more. Highly recommended! It's out of date, but still works well.

✭✭✭✭✭Sounds like the bug I have on my Dunmer character who is also the oldest character and my crafter... if I go into any character and delete any notifications, they automatically delete from all my characters... except for my Dunmer. If I delete the two notifications that always remain on his character, then notifications automatically repopulate on all my other characters and I have to delete them manually from each character. I have reported it in the past, but nothing was ever done about it, so now each time I log into my Dunmer I just have to ignore the notifications.CP: 2105 ** ESO+ ** ~~ ***** Strictly a solo PvE quester *****

ZOS_JessicaFolsomCommunity ManagerHi @Danikat! We've confirmed with the Dev team that what you're experiencing is indeed a bug. Once you dismiss a notification, you should not get it again. We have a fix for it that will be rolling out in a future patch, as well as improvements to the ESO Plus Bonus Event opt-in and notifications if we do it again.2 -
