✭✭✭✭✭Riften is almost perfect.
Riften has always been extremely laggy for me, a ton of people already congregate there mostly for no reason. A lot of the time I even catch a group of nudists displaying themselves on the steps of the Inn while others watch.
If the Wayshrine was in a more central spot inside town, Stros M'kai would be a really good alternative. Crafting stations, Merchants, and a Banker are all in that little corner across from the Inn.CP2,100 Master Explorer - AvA Two Star Warlord - Console Peasant - Khajiiti Aficionado - The Clan

✭✭✭✭✭Sentinel is the best place to stage . You have two types of grinding right next to a full crafting area and merchants . An apartment in a major RP tavern and a home next to the palace . Two conveniently located thieves guild entrances and great resource farming for all types along the city to docks route . Guild traders available for shopping and the best Dolmans rotation in Tamriel . Why you are not in the desert oasis paradise is beyond me .1 -

✭✭✭I've said it before, no one goes to Rawl'ka anymore. It's too crowded.
Shornhelm in Rivenspire is one of the best end of trial/adventuring stops. You have a bank, a merchant, the three gear stations to break down stuff, stable and an outlaw refuge right off the wayshrine.
Stormhold in Shadowfen is my favorite crafting city for writs. 6 stations in a small loop, 5 of them outside, as oppose to 3 in mornhold, plus the bank, stable, and outlaw refuge are closer too. It's sometimes worth the quick detour compared to the crisscrossing Belkarth will make you do.
Surprisingly neither of these towns seem as crowded as they should be.Main: Drio Azul ~ DC, Redguard, Healer/Magicka Templar ~ NA-PC

True but its a quick and easy quest.
Its a bit the same as Bleakrock that becomes unnacessible AFTER quest
