Items disappearing?

I was transferring some stuff from my guild bank and noticed that they weren't in my inventory. I checked and double checked and well, they poofed. This is third time that's happened to me and I discounted the previous two incidents as my own error, but I think it's time I brought it up now.

Anyone else experience this before?

Two things:

- Check if the items are under your junk tab
- Always make sure the guild bank is fully loaded before interacting with it

Yes. But they came back after relog. Also my bank inventory scrolls back to the beginning again sometimes like a loop. Inventory management online.

I've seen this happen in the last two days. Had been farming necropotence to sell, i finished and went to clothing table to upgrade to purple. After i did so, i could see it in the improvements tab but it couldn't ve found in my inventory or bank. Logged out and logged back in, and it was back in my bank. The next day logged in and it was gone once again. No amount of relogging has made it come back.

and log out and back in. Sometimes stuff does not appear in the bank when initially transferring them. I have yet to lose anything in the end. Why it happens, it is a feature I guess.

Last time I checked my 10 or so Rosins were still missing. But now that I have free ESO plus trial, all my mats went into the crafting bag, including ones from guild bank. I stuffed them all in there. I'll double check when I get home but I doubt it.

I purchased and then deposited a staff into my normal banker. When I looked for it I could not find it at all after assuming it would be under staves.

I found it eventually discussed as a survey. Take a look.

Perhaps what you are looking for has done the same. A guildie claimed it can happen with "randomly generated item id's".

Edit; also the only reason the little icon is showing as red is because the toon I'm on is too low a level to equip it, and the only reason it's green is because that is the quality of the staff. So let's say it's a blue quality staff that you could equip, it would be much more difficult to spot. You would need to check the actual description of all the items.

Also, the issue stopped after I took it out on my main, improved it and equipped it. I guess that would change the items id. But I don't know.

And yes if anyone is wondering, I almost stained my breeches when I couldn't locate it.

That's really interesting, even if it doesn't pertain to my situation. I'll take a look.

Yes, I've had this happen to me when putting items into my bank. I deposit the items, the bank item count goes up, and yet when I tab over to withdraw, the items are not there. At first I thought the items had disappeared. But when I went back to the bank later, they were there. I don't know if that's lag, or what? Seems to be similar to the delay in getting items that you purchase from guild traders... relog or use a wayshrine and then the items appear later... I don't know if this is what's happening in your case, I'd say make a list of the items you're transferring, then go back and check for them later after you've ported through a zone or two. If they still don't show up, submit a ticket.
