Lots of players are having no issues, its not a ZoS problem.

And.. today is a holiday in the US.. with lots taking a vacation day for Monday to make a four day holiday.

    LET THEM HAVE A HOLIDAY.

    bugmaster-pest-control-kelowna-get-rid-of-bed-bugs.jpg

Not a ZoS problem...hahaha you're full of jokes. So all the countless people posting here and on Reddit and the countless people talking about it in-game all of which happened around the same time frame is just a coincidence??..

I can't even count how many time I've seen "the connectivity issues have been resolved" posted by ZoS after issues like this... but this time is different... let me rest my router and see if that helps...nope...

Ok.. will make it simple for you.

I have been playing 13 out of the past 14 hours on PCNA and never had one spot of lag.

ITS NOT THEIR SERVERS (or routers) or it would affect everyone.

Tell me that again when past 9 days I have had this same issue, I heard this issue persist before I had it and it got worse and worse to the point that now big portion is affected. I can boot up any other game that requires internet and see ping of 30 but ESO currently loves 500-999+ ping. If the only game affected on my end is ESO, yeah it is not hard for me to realize it is something to do with the servers. Even my friend who lives 30 mins away from me has the same issue.

As someone pointed out in this thread ( https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/357557/really-were-gonna-get-the-silent-treatment), it is probably a routing issue happening at backbones level, on a NA regional basis. Probably Zos has nothing to do with it, nor they can do anything in order to fix the problem. It is happening on the customer's network side. You can't really blame them if your ISP has some routing issues. As for me, I can report that on Pc-Eu everything is working smoothly and with no issues at all. No one is complaining. P. S. Please note someone in that thread reported that is playing on PC Na from South Africa, without having any issues.

Finland 11mbs download speed, 6.7mbs upload speed. Overwatch, Halo 5 etc works as usual 30 ping or so. Common ping for me for NA servers is 150 or so, currently 500-999+ my friend from same country has same issue, my friend from the States has same issue, yeah no it is not just our ISP.

Ya I get that but I have played with that kinda speed before and it's so unplayable like you can log on and do some crafting and maybe farm some mats but when it comes to high end PVE content and big 50+ 100+ pvp last emp keep fights it's GG with speeds like that I know with Google fiber I see almost zero lag even with 100+ ppl fighting at a keep but as of late over the last few days I only log in to do my crafting and that's it cuz I'm out of town and missing my Google fiber I'm running around 5 maybe 10mbps upload and 5 download speed and I crash if I go into pvp to get into a big city with a lot of people in it

Starting to wonder what kind of rig you run if the game crashes for due internet speed on those numbers... for me other than the past 9 days, game has ran just fine with my internet speed even when there is a lot of people on my screen.

Just got booted 2 times in last 5 minutes. My daughter is playing overwatch with no issues. I have more than enough bandwidth for both as we have both played for hours at the same time. This started for me last night and it is constant now. I played almost all day yesterday with no issues and then out of no where my connection started dropping.
I have a serious machine and have not had any lag issues or delays until last night.
In Texas, but that shouldn't mean a thing with terrestrial connection speeds these days.

@mandricus @Thogard if you have read any of the many threads created, including the one I started asking people for specifics, you'd know that it's not limited to a single ISP, and that based on the wide variety of players experiences these issues making the game unplayable across alll servers and platforms that it could very well have been something on ZOS end. Just because not everyone is affected doesn't mean it's not a ZOS issue. Of course the same circumstances don't necessarily indicate that it is a ZOS issue. But it took a solid week of many threads on the same topic each day for them to even acknowledge the issue, when all they have to do is pop in and say hey we're working on it, we don't know if the issue is with our servers or external yet, we'll let you know when we know more. Ya know? A lot of people pay regularly for this game. The level of transparency is often appallingly low, and something that is relatively new. Up until around 2016, dev-player interaction was pretty great.

I had the problem and i fixed the problem using VPN node reroutes. Because the fix worked, it confirmed my diagnosis. I posted a guide on the general forum. You should try my fix and let me know if it doesn't work. if it doesn't work then we can go back to saying its ZOS.

just because the problem isnt on zenimaxs end doesnt mean they should wash their hands of it, they should be helping us to get back to playing this game the way it is meant to be played. i cant dungeon or run any end game content. id really like to sub as well but im not spending a dime until i can play

It's an ATT node in texas that many people are routing through. You do not have to have ATT as your ISP to route through their nodes.

edit; and it culd very well still be ZOS's fault. They nee dto ensure compatability with their packets and the nodes out there. THey need to put pressure on ATT to fix it.

I haven't had any lag problems at all so it could be a internet speed issue for some. My issue was the game telling me that I was not a subscriber to Eso+ when I have been subscribed for more than a year now. I was locked out of dlc and all the perks even though my monthly payment was made on the first and Zos was pretty quick to help.

@Thogard yeah I always use Mudfish, as of yesterday and today it's working again. Was not before that. Also this wasn't lag spikes every 30 seconds, this was constant lag of a kind of never seen before even playing from SE Asia and prior to discovering Mudfish.

It's not an ISP issue. This is a ZoS issue, an issue at the data center they use or an issue with their backbone provider. Either way you look at it, it's a ZoS problem. The fact they have kept relatively quiet on the matter for so long is quite disturbing.

Sounds like your issue was different than mine. i think the issue most people are complaining about is the lag spike issue that started about 5 days ago. That's caused by teh faulty node. Overall lagginess though would be something else.

It is a node NEXT to the ZOS servers, but it is NOT the ZOS servers.

ZoS servers or not, ZoS is paying someone to colocate their servers, and therefore it is still their problem. They should be very transparent at times like this, especially if it is not directly their issue. Instead they are being very silent on the matter while mass amounts of players are being effected. This is not how a company should treat those who feed their profits. If this was the ISP I work for, and we did this to our customers when one of our backbones have problems we would not be in business.

Also, what professional company that relies on network connectivity for their services uses a single backbone, and no redundancy. This *** is amateur hour that I'd expect to see from Joe Blows Internet Service operating out of an apartment in a town with a population of 500, not some corporate powerhouse. Their is no excuse for this which is probably why it is taking them so long to publicly announce one outside of there generic twitter post.
