I really, really expected the devs to chime in. The game has been unplayable for up to a week for some of us and we get nothing? How is that okay? @ZOS_GinaBruno can you at least pop in and say something like, "Hey loyal players, we're aware there's a big issue with unplayable lag and we're working on it. We apologize for the inconvenience." Is that so hard? What happened to this game?

I also can't see why it's being swept under the rug.

I realize @ZOS_GinaBruno has no control on what gets fixed or not - but any communication would be welcome because it is unplayable.

Even in the non peak hours it's bad.

BGs and Cyrodiil just aren't any fun at the moment.

I mean, PvP on console has always been suspect but when you're playing and run your rotation on someone then all of a sudden you're dead to someone that wasn't there a few seconds ago - it's frustrating.

Using skills and watching my bars deplete yet doing 0 damage is beyond broken.

Just this morning at 4am on PS4 NA I was in a BGs match when out of nowhere a NB ganks me. The whole ambush / incap/ surprise Attack - I took no damage. Fought the guy - both of us lagging everywhere - when next thing I know the screen freezes and then he and I are both dead. I was killed by someone else who wasn't even on screen at the time. I messaged him if I did any damage to which he replied no that he died from someone else that wasn't there. We both had a good laugh at how terrible the state of PvP is.

This is not just a couple players experiencing this - this is happening across all systems and area chat is full of ppl complaining about it.

You do realize that with a world wide player base that doesn't matter. Plenty of American companies with 24/7/365 support teams.

It's not a holiday today and they have been active in the forums closing threads and responding to free crown crate/eso + questions.

I can understand forum mods not being able to respond to such a big issue, but there is no reason we should have not gotten an official response from ZOS by now.

Something did happen. The mods logged in this morning, saw 30 or so threads about lag, then promptly deleted them. Nice crowd control, ZOS. Now how about you actually acknowledge that there is a problem.

It is just you.

I am logged into the PC NA server.

Honestly, I don't think that ZOS is the root cause of a lot of the problems that people have with lag, latency, and disconnects. Some of the people, yeah, but there is something else going on that is not ZOS.

Just from reading through all the threads, and seeing what people are doing, where they are, and what they are experiencing, I see several different problems all being munged together. I see a wide variety of people who are not having a problem, just as I see a wide variety of people who are.

I don't know what ZOS is going to be able to do. The server is busy with people.

Decidedly, not a popular perspective, to be sure.

From everything I've gathered, reading the threads, talking to people affected, etc. It seems a routing issue in between certain (North, north eastern/Canada/New England) ISPs and the data center.

The latency issues that's been happening the last few days is definitely NOT on the players end, and it is happening with a lot of people from various locations/platforms.

The point I was making is this isn't an issue just for people who live in the northern part of the country. I've seen people in Florida and Texas having the same problems. It's all over.

Pretty much.

I've seen several trace reports showing total packet loss long before connecting to the data center.

internet routing in itself is a weird thing and sometimes one small switch outage or an ISP issue somewhere in between your home network and the service you are trying to connect to can muck all sorts of things up.
