Should vampires get more skills/passives?

    It should stay the same
Id rather just reverse the feed structure. When you feed you shouldn't get weaker. just feed to lvl 4 you are just a little pale and you are a strong vampire. You don't feed you get sickly and but closer to humanity and take less fire damage. I just loathe the the gross skin you get to get all the strong passives.

If I edited a post, it was for spelling. It is always because of spelling....

I actually sort of want the contrary. I want WW/vampire to be more of a RP/cosmetic thing than min-maxing choice.

This way when I see a vampire, I know that's who the character is, not that the player needs extra resource regen or sneak speed.
I agree in theory, though I still think the skills are fine as they are, at least combat wise... a few support skills wouldn't hurt though.

What I would want most for them is some more drawbacks to make ESO vampires (and werewolves for that matter) feel more like "pretending being human" then "character with extra skill line"...

For one, an automatic kill on sight from all guards if you show your true nature in town. Which would include every "citizen" NPC (town vendors and quest givers, but not outlaw refugee vendors) refusing to deal with you in any way if you are found out...

For another, some of the classics...

    - Werewolves
    - I'd like to see affected by the moons, unable to transform on new moon nights, but having increased transformation times during full moon nights, perhaps even with a mandatory transformation during the height of the full moons...
    - And a automatic "hunt worthy prey during full moon" quest that gives a gametime-month "hasn't fed" debuff if not completed...
    - And more lycantropic flavors, at the very least werebears, wereboars, werelions and werecrocodiles... perhaps even weresharks... which might have much harder to find infection locations (could be in DLC territory... look ZOS, extra profit to be made!), and slight differences in skills, perhaps...

    - Vampires...
    - I'd like to see affected by the sun, not crumbling to ash levels, but something, like perhaps all vampy powers costing more and having less effect during daytime.
    - And also having their swim speed reduced, for the whole "cross running water" thing.
    - And have the chance of being found out by the guards depending on their vampirism stage - say, 20% at 1, 40% at 2, 80% at 3 and auto at stage four... with some skill or item to lower their appereance (and thus detection chance) by one stage (meaning at stage one, they can disguise themselves as human, just like count verandis ravenwatch did in the first meeting)
    - And also get some "bottled blood" as well as a "charmed feeding" option (as in, charm a citizen to feed on them, without raising alarm) to better control their vampirism stage... and possibly even the chance to "go frenzy" and auto-attack innocent citizens while being at stage four blood-starved...
    - And possibly even a special "vampires only" sanctuary (they could reuse and expand the one from the initiation quest) where vampires can craft vampy specific gear and buy vampy specifiy stuff, and feed on willing (well, charmed) donors, chat with the other vampires, compare their tales of vampy woe, swap poems or whatever...

    But hey, that's me.

We can keep dreaming Scout. Personally, I want the same darn gap closer every NPC vampire in the game gets. I don't CARE if it's "like" teleport strike.

I'd like to see more variety in both vamp and WW skill lines tbh.

WWs only have 5 skills they can use while in their form as it is right now.

Vamps only have 3 active skills and only 1 is good.

Maybe introducing other forms of lycanthropy or other strains of vampirism? Each with different looks and passives/skills. I mean technically they are "diseases"...they should evolve over time.

A more drastic vampire line might be interesting.
You know with actual risk/reward splits and not just a minor inconvenience to fire damage for a stam or magic regen buff.

    70% weakness to fire.
But like...some.really drastic passives to make it at least worthwhile.

The 2 vamp skills are very strong for pvp but the ultimate is kinda a joke now. The vamp passives are what's up

    Vampires should get more skills/passives
I keep hoping for a vampire/werewolf-centric DLC or, gods help me, even a "chapter." NEW bloodlines based on the existing lore. Amazing houses from dank underground caves to elegant spooky castles. New pets; giant bat, little bat, wolves. THE ABILITY TO LOOK HUMAN! Or, at least, to look however your character did before becoming a vampire. A skin that is just the Stage one pale WITHOUT the veins and your ORIGINAL eyecolor and that does NOT wash out your makeup. Seriously ZOS, take my money.

I don't think us Vampires need more abilities (I wouldn't complain if they gave them to us however), but maybe the ones that we do have maybe could use a bit of a buff...

I think they should buff Vampire abilities through the Vampire Lord gear set...

Instead of the final slot giving you 400 Spell Damage and a 5% Reduction to the Cost of Vampiric abilities, it should give 400 Spell Damage to Vampiric abilities and a 1-2 Sec duration increase to the abilities that we already have...

That way Vamps get a needed buff to the abilities present and you'd increase the usefulness of the Vampire Lord gear set all in one blow...

Our Passives are fine however, and don't need a buff; if they buffed the Passives, they would be OP...

    Vampires should get more skills/passives
I'm a vampire and I really enjoy being one but it sucks that we only get two skills, of which only one is kinda useful, and an ultimate. I'd just luge to see 2 our 3 Moore skills associated with being a vampire like being able to turn invisible. I'd just like to know what you guys think. Leave a suggestion with your answer.

I would like to see them get more skills.

As things are now - their abilities really don't really compare well with my other skills. Maybe with vampire oriented sets and the right set up they could be useful. But that's a lot of investment/sacrifice for what are probably mediocre results.

People constantly tell me that vampire is over-powered. But I just don't see it. Their passives are useful - but it also requires you to invest 100 CP points to counter the fire resistance penalty. At best I would call it a draw. It's mostly for the cosmetic look (yes, I actually like the way vampire's look) and the sneak speed that I stay a vampire. It certainly isn't because I think it makes me over-powered or anything like that.

Yeah it seems like their skills are designed mostly for PvP. It's been hard for me to find a use for them in PvE.

One vamp skill stuns another player for 3 seconds and heals you for 20% of your missing health every second for 3 seconds.

The other vamp skill gives you mobility when your ganking with a non sorc or nightblade

I was speaking in a PvE context and haven't done any PvP in a long time. I'll concede their skills are useful in PvP.

It would be nice to see a couple of skills added that were comparative to my other skills so I could PvE with vampire-themed attacks.

Maybe I'm the odd man out, but I use all 3 abilities heavily in nearly all content...

    Overworld...3 out of 3.
    Dungeons...2 out of 3.
    PvP ...........3 out of 3.

I guess it just depends on how you are built and how you like to play, but I find some of the abilities very useful. In my honest opinion:

Elusive Mist is one of the best Defensive abilities in the game...

Invigorating Drain is far better than its given credit for...

Devouring Swarm is underrated as well; its not as destructive as Eye of Flame, but the Healing it provides helps make you nearly unkillable for 5 secs (with the right build of course)...

Accelerating Drain, Baleful Mist, and the other Morph of Batswarm (its name escapes me at the moment) need some help though...

Baleful Mist in particular isn't terrible as it does have some use; for example, the damage it does will Proc Skoria and Veli, but even with that, its still noticeably inferior to Elusive Mist...

    Vampires should get more skills/passives
The passives don't need changing. Being meta neutral and offering a variety of stealth, resource management and durability options makes vampire suitable for any build, especially regarding Nightblades.

Nightblade + Vampire = match made in heaven (ironically)

I guess if anything I would like to see a morph of bat swarm which does physical damage instead of magic damage. Cause ya know, bats bite... physically... it makes sense to me, OKAY?!

Also, bring back poison mist... just to p**s off those rabid wolves on Hist sap!

I'd like V and WW to be full classes. I'd also like a V/WW hybrid option.
