So I decided to take a couple moths break as I really grinded out those events and just got a bit bored! What would you wise members of the community say the best part of Morrowind is and why?

Not sure about the wise part but I simply like questing and story, so alone for that it was worth it for me.

Morrowind is without a doubt ZOS's best content to date. If you are interested in a new class it's there. If you are interested in arena style, small scale PvP with different rulesets it's there. If you are interested in a new large well built great looking zone it's there. Plus the storyline, quests, NPC dialogue is some of the best to date in the entire game. I haven't been bored running quests yet in Morrowind content. I can't always say that about the previous zones, especially the original game launch zones.

Apprentice! You left me and they went and stole my stars! I blame you for this.

Morrowind is awesome (personal opinion), if you're into exploration and story via questing this is their best work yet.

The new trial is enjoyable and challenging, though I've only done normal mode.

Not done battlegrounds yet so can't give much feedback on that.

The PvE quest content is great. The new class is allot of fun.

The battlegrounds mode is proc city and reflects very poor game ballance decisions, and is quickly dying on PC NA (if you want competitive PvP you will not find it in ESO). The lag introduced wih this patch is also abysmal and at times unplayable. Lots of bugs wih the new classes skills and passives.

Is it worth $40? No. Maybe worth $15 tops, or just should have been included in eso +.
Morrowind is looking to be a flop for the most part number wise, and has not attracted much positive attention to the game. After the initial hype from release it doesn't seem to have attracted many new players.

In short, ZOS should probably focus on giving us a working and polished product instead of releasing a hyped up money grabbing expansion full of bugs. What happened to the days when devs released finished products? If you really want to enjoy his update wait 6 months to get it at a cheaper price and with fewer bugs.

You cannot select your game mode for battlegrounds, queuing issues are also a huge problem. The quests are great tho!

Not worth it unless you have a raid or battleground team. In those cases it is mandatory and still probably not worth it.

This commemoration is for the class that has constantly been plundered and dismantled by designers for no obvious reason while other classes continue to have coherent skill lines and feel both powerful and cool.

The quests were pretty good. Well written. I had fun. Was it worth he $40 to me? No. I've barely played on my Warden. I don't care about BG's right now. So it was just exploring, doing quests, dailies, and hunting achievement points. OH! And collecting parts from both public dungeons to make a costume and a pet for yourself. That was a nice addition.

I'm enjoying playing the Warden class it's quite good fun. Got the main quest done but have left the rest till later, did not want to get through it too quickly. So I have done the main quests on the mainland to level up my Warden.
Bought my first home today and choose the ALD VELOTHI HARBOR HOUSE, really like this one.

For myself I think it was worth it, very well done. But then I think ESO is the best game I own anyway so it may just be me.

It's ok but wait for a sale. It's not worth its full price.

I'll repeat what I said on this (Is morrowind worth buying?) discussion.
"I'll simply say, I bought it, and am still playing it. No regrets. It's not perfect but name a game that is perfect."

Along the same theme are these discussions.

    considering playing morrowind......worth it?
    and
Is Morrowind worth the price tag?

Morrowind the expansion is worth it if you like to explore and quest in zones.

    • New zone - Vvardenfell - is fantastic
It is the largest and most detailed zone. Also it is the most awesome zone imo. Very well done.

    • New Class - Warden - is very well done.
Awesome class with a unique feel and interesting skills. If you want to deal competitve dps on a Magicka spec you will be disappointed though. Besides that it is a great addition to ESO.

    • New trial - Halls of Fabrication - is really cool
If you care for trials this is great besides the serious FPS issues and certain RNG-based mechanics on Boss #4. Great addition to the game regardless of flaws and is easily my favorite trial.

    • New system - Battlegrounds - is great if you like PvP
However, it currently faces severe flaws. - Group Finder causes finding games to be very difficult especially when not solo, and for there to rarely form 4v4v4 matches. It is a massive issue right now but is seemingly going to remain an issue despite how severe it is (very poor job ZOS).
    - Group Finder does not care for player skill.... a premade group of the very best PvPers can face off against a few dudes who just picked up the game last week.
    - Proc sets are highly imbalanced. A handful of them are extremely powerful and must-slot sets for PVP. Stamina builds will use Viper's Sting, Red Mountain, Widowmaker, Selene's, Velidreth, Tremorscale, etc. Even Valkyn Skoria. It is all widely criticized yet still in-game and prominent in every single match. Nerfs are apparantly on their way again after the last batch of nerfs (removed Proc Set crits) changed nothing at all.
    - Cost Increase Poisons, though often not used due to price/morals, are able to get basically anyone in killed in PvP where they'd normally be able to survive/fight back. Players who use them are criticized due to how imbalanced they are. They will never be disabled unfortunateIy.
    - Choice in choosing game types is disabled. You can only play what the Group Finder decidesd
    - Certain builds (ex. running builds in Capture the Flag) are excessively effective. I will not give it away, but you can build yourself to run very fast and be almost practically impossible to kill due to tankiness/ease of running away+speed. You can easily end every Capture the Flag and Domination quickly or cause 10min stalemates.....
    - Leaderboards promote time invested, not skill. Unless you play multiple hours of BGs every day dont expect to be on there.
    - Much, much more

    • Game performance in all content has once again deteriorated....

Personally my interest in ESO has diminished with the state of BGs being so poor and game performance progressively getting worse, not better.

If ZOS has a patch that addresses issues specifically related to game performance and BGs I'll easily play ESO a lot like I used to.

Just my thoughts on the situation.

Only reason to pick up Morrowind is to play in Vvardenfell imo. If you are obsessed with the Warden class or Trials then it may be worth it as well.
