2H - Rally (heal) , Executioner (strongest melee execute), AOE shield (Brawler)
DW - Steel Tornado (best AOE melee damage), several heals, highest dmg
1HS - Tanking ..nuff said



Is there a niche that bows provide that others cannot provide or does have abilities that deal better damage than others ??

You can do a single snipe or two before the mob is on you so even the range factor does not simply cut it.

So what good is the bow for ??

    Bow has roots and snares, can inflict poison and disease and is generally good support weapon for DPS

    Best stamina AOE you can get.

    Poison arrow

    execute dot

    Pretty much on your back bar for stam dps you want hail of arrows, caltrops and whatever buffs you deem worthwhile.
    I also quite like the ballista ultimate.

    I hate the look of ballista..so ridiculous. It is effective though.

    It is not the best aoe but it is one of if not the best aoe dot. And a dot and even better an aoe dot are important to almost all builds.

    Bow has some nice passives for increased weapon crit & weapon dmg.

    PVE - endless hail.

    PVP - Poison injection, Lethal Arrow, Passive that gives you a short speed boost after a dodge roll. All great backbar stuff for a StamBlade.

    I don't understand the obsession with Endless Hail. What enemy stands still for 16 seconds?

    That doesn't answer my question. Arrow Barrage does its damage in 8 seconds and even that's a lot to expect any enemy to stand still that long.

    Bow is good for light attacking in delves. Be sure to choose either the drive-by or stalker method and then commit to it.

    Bow? Great weapon for idle bots. They can shoot LA in single place for 24/7 at the dolmen.

    almost every boss will stand still long enough for Endless Hail. in the endgame, with the right setup, Endless Hail is a stamina user's highest damaging non-ultimate ability

    in a non-dungeon setting, bow can kill any non-boss character in 2 seconds without the enemy even getting up. Hidden-Snipe-LA-Poison Injection-LA-Snipe-LA they're dead. Throw in Lightweight Trap for extra lols.

    in pvp, bow is almost mandatory for range when you're stam 2h or dw

    For PvE bow, for it's dots is a standard for every stam raid build.

    Also, interestingly, someone actually came up with a solid bow/bow build. Just looked and it has not been updated for Morrowind. Not sure if anything would have changed it.

    In AD faction bow is used to siege castles.

    There is a bow skill morph and I can't think of the name of it right off. It knocks the enemy back 5 or 6 meters, stuns them and then heals me a little bit. I really like that ability, but I'm kind of leaning away from the bow these days unless I'm at a dolmen.

    The Magnum morph of that is great for getting inside locked cages.

    Or out of locked cages. But don't tell anyone otherwise bows will be nerfed so hard.

    Make a stamwarden, equip a bow, use ranged ability's from the Animal Companion tree = win.
