Is there ore in morrowind?

So ive been in morrowind now since level 8 and am currently 13, and i have yet to find any ore. Not to mention other resources seem rare as well but i have found some maple, and runes. I have went looking a few times around hills with rocks and never see any like you do in the base game.

✭✭✭✭✭It's the newest content ... so players are admittedly hitting nodes almost faster than they can spawn.
On the other hand, you can farm the DLC zones (Wrothgar, Hew's Bane, Gold Coast) with low risk of other player interference.
It's not that these zones are dead ... not everyone has the DLCs and most players in there are doing the content instead of farming.1 -

CMFan1966✭✭✭✭✭If you're looking for materials, the starter zones in each faction are a great place to search! Most people don't have enough experience or skill points to put into crafting so the nodes don't glow for them.0 -
Moonscythe✭✭✭✭✭I've found runes all over the place, less jute, iron, maple and some alchemical ingredients including nirnroot. There seems to be the least alchemical plants but I have no issue with that since it isn't that hard to pop back to the mainland for stuff if i want it particularly.
