Let Us Turn In Writs Where We Want!

I've done my time in Belkarth, and then some. I'm sick of the music, sick of the NPCs, sick of the scenery. There are so many cities in this game - let us decide where our crafters work.

And yes, we can currently craft anywhere, but we still have to load screen over to Belkarth (which also resets the music to the "dun-dun, dun-dun" sound track - AGHHH MAKE IT STOP!). It might not seem like a big deal if you craft on one character. I craft on 9. So to craft in another zone is an extra 18 load screens (1 there, 1 back). Load screens already eat up so much time switching between alts (which could also be reduced if we could switch directly between characters instead of having to log out to the character select menu). Allowing us to turn in at any city would help out tremendously.

I probably haven't been doing writs as long as you have, but what I hate more about this, is that I first have to go to a main city to then go to Belkarth.
It would be nice if I could just do my writs, and go to a wayshrine that"ll take me there, instead of the carriage.

On a serious note, I fully support being able to turn in top tier writs at any drop in Tamriel. I'm over the Belkarth scene too, but prefer it to going back to Orsinium.

Why do not allow writ closing at the same zone, where writs were taken? Isn't it intuitive thing to do?
I like to craft in Vukheel Guard. And I'm tired of teleporting to Belkarth for closing writs.

I'm not sure what you mean. There's a wayshrine in Belkarth. You can port in from anywhere on Tamriel. No need for the carriage.

ETA - the wayshrine is literally right next to the carriage drop off. There's no way you haven't seen it...

No no, I've seen that wayshrine. Just never took the time to find Craglorn on the world map. Derp.

For the sake of continuity, let's remember that the writs are supposed to be supplies to support the war effort.

It doesn't make sense for all three alliances to drop off to the same nutral supply depot to support all three sides of the war effort.

    Plus craglorn sucks.

Worst thing about Belkarth is the 10-second log out waiting time. It's a frigging town! There's nothing attacking me! No other town makes me wait 10s to log off a character!

since the devs adjust harvest nodes that no longer base on zone level or tiers, and the cities that handle writs stay the same instead of universal suppliers.

but i can see other reason why other oppose some changes, due to "Guild Auction Vendors" and Craglorn seem to be the "end-game" center and gatherings for group contents.

    Personal opinion.
Development resources can be allocated to the many issues that the game is facing at the moment.

If such a change would not drain a lot of energy from ZOS then sure why not.
If that was not the case tho, would it really be necessary?

Why does Craglorn have the same sountrack as Cyrodiil anyway?

And agree, please let us turn in writs at any drop-off point - or all of them in the last faction zone maybe.

You have dead writs drop of points many places like Rawl'kha.
Doing writs on non master crafters is worse as you have to go to the starting city.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I agree. I'd love Riften or Windhelm please.

Reasons why Belkarth stinks for multiple crafters:

In the wilderness there's a delay, yes. But logging off in Marbruk/Mournhold/Rawlkha etc does not give this delay, since they are towns. Only Belkarth does not follow this rule.

Agree. I craft everywhere on three alts. Why can't I turn in wherever I am? I'm based out of Vivec City right now, so really annoying to port to Belkarth to turn in writs. There are drop off points in most cities, I just can't use them!

I bet they will make another crown purchasable assistant that can take your writs. lol. actually, I would like that. haha. Then I can put it at my home. and drop off my writs there. lol.

I really wish there's a house furniture that you can get writs from (at least). Would have homes more functional than just pure aesthetics.

    ^ This.

Plus, the bank is just too far away.

I'd prefer to be able to just do all Writ tasks in Rawl'kha for convenience, or even in my home, but I don't mind Belkarth aside from the 10-second logout and the trek to get to the bank.

As it is, you can turn in your low-level writs to ANY of the three alliance zones. I have all my low-level alts pick up AND turn in their writs in Mournhold. Already, the concept of supporting your alliance's war effort is thrown by the wayside. Just get rid of that useless "story."

Also, has anyone noticed that the top-tier writs that we turn in to Belkarth still mention the Orsinium Civic Renewal? The writs have already been effectively dissociated from the "story" so let's just drop it or ignore it as is already partly the case and let us just drop off wherever - we're picking up from wherever right now anyway. Why do I pick up a writ in the third zone which is supposed to be to aid refugees but I'm actually getting a writ to help the Orsinium Civic Renewal, which I then drop off in Belkarth. It already doesn't make sense.

Just drop this last remnant of pre-One Tamriel and be done with it. You already allow us to pick up wherever; I'm guessing allowing us to turn in wherever wouldn't be that hard to accomplish.
