I find it frustrating as a new player that when I did a crafting writ and I was unable to find where to turn it in. I am sure if I played before Morrowind I would've understood and been okay with it, but in this case I was confused, took the boat over to the other place and then realized i had to go wandering around to find it. I abandoned the writ instead and continued on with the Morrowind content.

Yeah...I'm sure the system is confusing for new players who started with MW, since they have writ boards there but no drop-off. At least the first-tier writs should be able to be dropped off in MW. Instead, new players, for which ZOS created a special tutorial for MW, have the ability to do writ certification and writ pick-up in Vivec City, but then have to leave the MW environment to go the mainland to then try and figure out where to turn them in.

I had to explain to my friend who just started recently how he had to physically travel across the 4 corners of the map to track down where he was supposed to drop off his daily crafting quests. Needless to say, he was not enthused.

So yeah, current system is terribad. It should just force you to turn in wherever you pick up.

Or, hear me out here, they actually regionalize the quests and rewards. Like if you do them in sentinel, you have to craft with redguard motif and mostly plate and swords, and so on and so fourth. Then, the rewards can be unique to that faction / race, like higher chances at motifs / recipes of theirs.

Been campaigning for this for ages too....

We can pick up anywhere, we should be able to turn in writs in any city as well.

Single biggest quality of life upgrade they could make imho.

Each of my charachters wants to live somewhere different, but oh no... they all have to sit in that dust bowl of belkarth! :(

Would love to be able to revisit some of the other cities.

Agreed, especially with new characters. By the time I hit 16 in Stonefalls and raised my crafting skills, I was nowhere near the next zone over, and the writ turn in is halfway across that zone, with no way to port there yet, I had to hoof it there...I hit that zone about level 30, and guess what, my new writ turn in is in some other zone i had yet to set foot in. That is very annoying.

Glad I'm not the only one who wants this.

As far as the NPC voices go, I just turn the dialogue off when I start to craft. It makes it so much less painful and easier to focus. But should we have to turn off that part of the game to enjoy it? Not even to enjoy it, to tolerate it long enough to get through yet another tedious grind/farm...

I also brought this thread up before, way back. Hopefully someone actually noticed this time.

oh god, I would no lie buy an npc from guild store if it would allow me to turn in my writs anywhere I wish. mainly I'm partial to either Mournhold or Elden Root. ad I absolutely utterly DESPISE writ turn ins for DC while leveling crafting. every single one of them is bloody annoying, if you try to craft in the same city as writ turn in.

I suppose I get that some people would not like it due to traders or somesuch, but at the same time... most people either turn in their writs in starting cities, or in Belkarth. so its not like there's diversity right now either. heck, if we were allowed to pick where to turn writs in, we may even see MORE traffic to some of the trader hubs.

but seriously though. I would so love an option to turn in my writs at location of my choice. I WOULD pay for it, no lie.

Writs should be supplied by and deliverable to the crown purchasable merchant.

    You heard it here first.

    Make the merchant useful!!!

I bet they will make another crown purchasable assistant that can take your writs. lol. actually, I would like that. haha. Then I can put it at my home. and drop off my writs there. lol.

I really wish there's a house furniture that you can get writs from (at least). Would have homes more functional than just pure aesthetics.

I suggested more some time ago
    zos response: silence. no?

(why stop there with crafting quests?
add pledges, guilds and all the rest. )

I would love to be able to turn in writs where ever I want. Honestly, I am surprised they do not let us purchase writ boards for our homes. They do allow us to purchase mundus stones.
