I kept all the disguises and those statless clothing items as well. The only cure is alts, lots and lots of alts. That way you can maybe recycle some clothes with different colours on different characters. Take screenshots, lots of screenshots.

And bless Zenimax's heart for their help in this matter - recycling baggy-butt pirate pants over and over, no waist on the Glenmoril Witch's outfit, giant shoes on the Telvanni wizard robes, blouses filled with pillow stuffing. . . .
