Hey, if ZOS want to change the look of the Daggerfall Hero Costume, by all means go ahead. Whoever they allowed to design that costume has absolutely no talent.
But yes i do agree with them changing other things it is a horrid practice and totally uncalled for.
There's a difference between fixing a feature/improving quality and just being petty by restricting access/downgrading quality.
The Earthtear Cavern change is one such debacle I can think of that direct relates to this.

in Craglorn cavern, some walls were added, people wrote, that a big part of the cavern was blocked by those walls, so it got smaller
in Hundings pallatial hall, shells and seaweed was removed from the beach there, not a big deal, but still, in principle, it is not ok
another house (do not remember the name now) got windows removed somehow
it really sucks, that people buy stuff like this and then it gets changed, without any response nor comments by ZOS
We can't. Which is why I personally am going to be quite ambivalent with key purchases going forward.kunquatb16_ESO wrote: »If Zos keep retroactively changing crown purchased items, without consultation or notification, how are [we] expected to judge if something is worth buying?
Great question! You're a better critical thinker than most and I wish this question was asked more often. Personally, I am drawing the line at homes. You buy a home for a few reasons, but right there at or darn near the top of the list is a big one...appearance! For changes to be made to a home (post-purchase) that are merely aesthetic in nature with seemingly no evidence of their being warranted, is for me, disappointing.kunquatb16_ESO wrote: »And, for those that disagree, where would you draw the line?

I think that if they are making changes to anything sold in the Crown Store whether it's seen as positive or negative that all those that already bought it should be entitled to a refund on it.
Anything less shows a lack of respect for paying customers.

exactly this!! or something valuable for fee as recompensation.
it is like you buy a new coat and few days later, the tailor comes and cuts some pieces out and does not tell you anything
Yeah. They unintentionally moved rocks... by oversight. Totally accidentally edited model of the map and misclicked the new file into the update. Typo style. Jesus, that logic!kunquatb16_ESO wrote: »We need answers on why these changes are happening. Are they intended, bugs, oversights?
I'm seeing reports of more housing changes, how many things have been changed?
Generally making housing objects outside of chairs intractable would be an huge benefit.MehrunesFlagon wrote: »wouldn't mind if they made the skooma bubblers interactable and have smoke coming from them.Guess that's more of a posotive change though.

Agreed. Seems the same.

Such as something along the lines of stating items bought from the CS are subject to change without prior notification to the purchasers. If there isn't such a disclaimer, then they shouldn't be altered in any way unless it's causing gameplay issues or issues that affect the use of the item itself.
