People didn't care when it happened to the very expensive Crown exclusive Cavern (they added huge stones when there were none before). Except the home owners.
People didn't care when it happened to Hunding's (they removed seashells and kelp from the beach). Except the home owners.
People will not care now that it is happening to Mathiisen. Except the home owners.
This thread will be buried in the Bug report section, like Hunding's thread was, although there is no bug involved at all - this is intended.
All home owners, even the cheapest ones, should unite to demand ZOS to not make any changes to their homes - except to fix obvious bugs.
Personally, I'm not spending one more cent in housing until we get a good explanation on why they are making those unasked for alterations.
I never even saw the Hunding's thread.
I saw the Craglorn cavern thread but I thought from reading Gina's posts that it was being looked into.
I will not be buying another house or any furniture until we hear something. I agree everyone who has purchased a house either through gold or crowns should stand together on this.
I come from a family of Lawyers/Judges and I really don't care about going to court.
I just want an explanation or acknowledgement that it is a bug and being worked on. That's literally all I'm looking for.

This is not the first house you make changes to without notice. Just like you previously changed the way Crown Crates work by adding mounts that cannot be bought with Gems. Just waiting for Zenimax to be hit with that sweet lawsuit from SONY and Microsoft! Would very well deserved. Your company is a total disgrace in the industry.

On the inside, there are bricks occupying the space where the windows were. But wait! What's that? Looks like someone forgot that sunlight doesn't pass through bricks, and therefore can't shine on the floor beneath them!
how is it possible, that when someone uses a swear word in the conversation, the moderators are there in few hours, or if someone posts something against the forum rules, the moderators are rushing to close the tread as fast as possible and in this case, there are at least 2 treads about the bug in Hungings pallatial hall (missing shells and seaweed in the beach there), Craglorn cavern (adden new wall, made it smaller) and now this another house bug and it is a week after these treads about it were created and no reply from ZOS???
IS IT REALLY THAT YOU DO NOT GIVE A DAMN ZOS OR WTH IS IT THEN???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greetings!
Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team. My name is BLANKED, and it's my pleasure to assist you today.
I understand your concern about the recent changes made to some of the houses. Generally, our development team tries to make improvements to the houses, when they make any changes at all. I cannot tell you when or how they'll address the recent changes; we only know what they've released publicly. I'm sorry we couldn't be of more assistance.
Thank you for your continued interest and support. Have a good one.
Warm Regards,
BLANKED

its no different than buying the game brand new with cash, playing it for a month and then downloading a patch to find out that your character has been nerfed/buffed/rebalanced or whatever you my choose to call it. What needs to be relayed from ZoS is whether the changes are intentional or an unexpected bug which they will address.
Actually in some jurisdictions making post-sale changes to things that have been purchased with real world money or thinly veiled equivalents is illegal and the law in this whole area is still being made so your name seems oddly appropriate right now.

Actually, from what I understood, none ever bought a house with real world money. Everyone bought Crowns, not the items that can be acquired with Crowns. That's the kind of details that can help their company get away with their ever shittier and ever more disrespectful behaviour. The Wild Hunt mounts that do not even remotely look like the actual lore about Wild Hunt, the disappointing E3 with that horrendous PR fiasco about the Creation Club, the RNG-Only-Not-Even-Gems-Mounts and their infinite money sink, the uncommunicated and unwanted changes to houses, the apparently nerfed drop rates and fifth card rates in Crates (Hello Nix Hound!), all this is frankly pissing me off, and it is severely impacting my enjoyment of ESO, and TES in general. To be honnest, I don't see myself playing much more after having finished the Vvardenfell quests.
