Conniving Crown Crates

It's a big scam. I've purchased one of the big 15 crate deal for the first, second and now this theme, and all I've ever gotten was a couple of pets, old costumes and a crap load of consumables. So for 5k crowns you get a pet and costumes you probably don't even like. I don't count consumables as anything because they don't last. This is probably my last time doing the crown crate thing.

I know. I'm not even after those top tier mounts either. I would of been happy getting a lower tiered mount. I can buy a couple of them still with the gems.

Khajiit is sad you feel bad about the crates.

This one does not like to see a fellow traveller feel bad. This is why she has spoken out extensively against the con crates yes.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck regarding crown crates. I hope you have more success next time, as those mounts are really worth the investment in them (in my opinion).

From the beginning clown crates have only guaranteed you will get "consumables". If you got food, potions, poisons...then you got what was promised.

Other items have a "chance", a "slight chance", or a "very rare chance" of dropping. Going by the tallies people are keeping from one crate season to the next, those chances for the higher tier items are decreasing from one season to the next. Except, apparently, nix hounds. Those things are multiplying faster than rabbits.

Clown crates can be fun for people who have extra crowns to play with, especially if they don't want a specific item, and don't care about the items they didn't like, didn't want, and can't use cluttering up their collectibles. Wanting a specific item or mount? Probably won't happen at all, especially now they have added the super ultra rare mounts that can't be bought with gems.

First round of the very first crates ever released: 3 mounts inxluding the good one, 3-5 pets, obscene amt of costumes

New life ones: used my monthly crowns to buy a small pack just to see what I could get as the mounts really weren't interesting to me. Got tiger mount on box 6.

New crates: 2 mounts (bear and a "special" horse one), costumes, pets and that housing statue thing. Had enough gems to get all the vanity items I wanted.

My rng with crates is phenomena(sp). My wife's rng is so bad that she don't even have rng. She gets nothing...EVER.

I have 299 gems lol. I need one more gem to be able to buy three of the 100 gem items. I will get the wolf mount and two hero costumes and be done with crown crates for..... this season. Not sure about next season.
