Would you like races to have active abilities?

    No, too many abilities already.
In current state of game balance we need removing all racial skills, not adding more of them.
Adding new racial active skills will cause even less racial choice for character builds.

    Absolutely NOT.

You know what's already bad about races in this game ? The fact that they are such a huge deciding factor on meta when they should be an aesthetic choice first and foremost. Racials should only give "affinity" towards a playstyle, not a concrete bonus towards a playstyle. Meaning, I should be able to play an Altmer stamina warrior and only be maybe 0.5-1% behind a red guard in terms of effectiveness. Yet, we all know very damn well that's not the case. What about a more extreme case with Dunmer and Magicka Dragon knights ? Now a days, being a magicka DK and not Dunmer is laughed at simply because the bonus the Dunmer has for flame damage is too damn high !

Now, of course I'm gonna get scrubs who say, "a 9-10% bonus is nothing serious and doesn't impact the game" and yet the only moderately difficult content they do are vet dungeons and struggle with VMA. :|

Racial passives need to be leveled down or made to be less of an impact. Adding active abilities, which will only widen the gap, will make the situation worse. You know it. I know it. We all know it.

Race already matter too much IMHO.

IMHO they should be even less impactfull than they are today (preferably they shouldn't even give any combat benefit).

But I do not think there are too many active skills in the game

All those no-votes are from non-orcs cause they know that after racial active abilities there would only be green rulers.

You know, it's racist to think that all Argonians are green. B)

Neither yes or no. Please explain.
No. I hate how the races have passives and force people into pigeon hole builds. People should be able to pick which ever race they like rather than forced to use certain races to min / max everything.
"And it's important to state that our decision to go with subscriptions is not a referendum on online game revenue models. F2P, B2P, etc. are valid, proven business models - but subscription is the one that fits ESO the best, given our commitment to freedom of gameplay, quality and long-term content delivery. Plus, players will appreciate not having to worry about being "monetized" in the middle of playing the game, which is definitely a problem that is cropping up more and more in online gaming these days. The fact that the word "monetized" exists points to the heart of the issue for us: We don't want the player to worry about which parts of the game to pay for - with our system, they get it all."

No, because they can't even balance the passives, imagine balancing active abilities.

No. Race choice is already way more important than it should be.

Unless every one of the abilities is trivial - swim speed! In which case, why bother.
Classes that don't need any class ability nerfs: Nightblades, Dragonknights, Sorcs, Templars, Wardens.

Now just to clarify. I myself absolutely hate the idea of racial passives. This poll is basically to prove that it was a bad idea in the first place in the game that's meant to be "play as you like".

When I first started the game, I played an Altmer stamblade not realising how much race means for your class in ESO. I seen all those cool warriors and eyes of the queen with two handed weapons and bows and that was my idea for a main. Now with the sustain nerfed to the level of the Dead Sea picking a race that has opposite passives to your class choice isn't just non-meta, it's crippling (or how ZOS likes to put it - inspires for more new, more interesting builds)
