I'm just going to add that, once was already too many. Twice is a warning not to buy houses with real world money, at least that's the lesson I'm taking away from it. There's no point in previewing something if they're going to change it after you already bought it.

Seawatergate - Day 4

Still no sign of the missing kelp or shells. The salmon are getting restless. The lobster is making accusations against the starfish. We all suspect the seahorses though.

The clams are trying to negotiate a document exchange but can we trust them?

This one is going to buy this house with gold fortunatelly, not real money, but first she has to do 50 Glenumbra quests, but yes, it is a great mistery, where the shells and sea weed dissapeared.

If I would venture a guess then I think they are still trying to formulate an answer that doesn't let them look like idiot ... maybe we will get a "fix" in one of the next incremental updates ?

Mine too - I wish I'd gone and taken screenies & item inventories of all my houses because who the hell knows what may or may not have been removed at this point - is it just cosmetics or are they changing layouts like they did in the Craglorn cave? Are they actually removing any items of furniture or other things I may have paid crowns or gold for? Could I lose rooms or plants? Who is signing off on this stuff?

Why is this being done on the sly?

How can I be assured that any future crown purchases I may make are safe or should I just stop funding this nonsense?

P.S. I own 37 of these things and a quick tour of a sample suggests that most seem untouched but there are a couple where I feel like something has changed - the problem is I have no screenshots of 'before' so it may just be paranoia caused by this change and the other one we *know* about. If anyone has kept records of this stuff it might be worth checking this out to see if this is another 'one off' or if there is something else going on here...

I noticed something strange in the Hundings home, although not the same as the seashell issue. I have my target skeleton on the beach, and it is where I practice rotations, builds etc. On Wednesday morning (US eastern), I was wailing on the training dummy and the transmutation set WAS NOT proccing. AT ALL. it doesn't take that long for the set to proc, I use the set a lot and fully know how it proc. I was self healing the entire time. It was so obviously not proccing that I checked twice to make sure I had 5 pieces on. There is a specific animation for that set when it procs, and that was my first ckue, the animation was gone.

As soon as I left the palace, I went to cyrodil and the set procced in no time. So yeah...

Khajiit suggests that maybe over the weekend we should all take screenshots of us sitting or lying or generally just being on our empty beaches.

The picture sometimes it is worth many, many of the words yes (Khajiit cannot count above 178).

Also this one would invite those still missing part of their cavern to do the same perhaps. In unity and with pictures of our unhappy faces perhaps we can restore our homes.

Sadly I'm not filled with hope here as it's been several weeks since the thread on Earthtear was started and, apart from some requests for evidence from @ZOS_GinaBruno and a 'shush naughty children' from one of the mods, it's all gone into the usual ZOS comms lockdown - until ZOS come back with something on these we have no way to know what they might choose to remove or change in our homes without warning

I would but I can't as my beach always had more weeds, starfish and shells thanks to my Master Angler Argonian.
Unlike in RL, a dirty beach seems a lot more appealing to me in game.

Honestly, none of this would be an issue if we had way more item slots. But we don't. I really liked that those shells and kelp didn't count towards item limit because it is well over 20 items right there > (would be cool if someone with precise older pics could make a count on the total number of items.) That we couldn't rearrange them was an insignificant price to pay for those over 20 item slots.

And Zeni should learn a lesson here: it is impossible to please everyone. So if people complain about little aesthetic details about houses that have already gone live: just ignore them because other people might have bought that house for those exact details.

Stay-Moist Mansion is missing some ruined walls and some Argonian themed posts. Haven't seen a ZoS response at all to that yet. I think my walls and posts went missing with Update 14 though (and not a small patch).
