Why does the game lack a

Compare going to a central AH to buy and sell with either selling in a guild store which may occasionally miss getting a spot so you sell nothing for a week or even worse, spam zone chat trying to sell and if you want to buy a specific item you need to traipse round the world. Even using TTC, you often get to a trader to find the item has already been sold.

There is no logical argument against a central AH.

Love the current system, hate the trader bidding system and the hard limit on possible trading guilds. If you want to be able to buy easier, try using one of the 2 pricing addons and their accompanying website. Makes shopping a lot easier. There's also a really awesome guild store addon that makes the in game trader UI look like the crap that it is.

Daggerfall>Arena>Oblivion > Morrowind > ESO > Skyrim.....though honestly I'd rank ESO above morrowind and oblivion both in that lineup.

And someone can be a member of one of the many tracing guilds that get decent locations and some have weekly/monthly dues or raffle ticket requirements. Turn off guild chat and then they cannot be annoying.

Just do a search. You can't possibly think you're the first person to ask why ESO isn't just like other games.

And I believe that in every one of the polls on the topic, the majority of the player base prefers see unique ESO economy to the central auction house scene in so many other games.

I would guess though that the results would be different in a poll for just console players, in equal parts due to the horrid vanilla UI, and a desire for mmo homogenization.
