FOR ALL NA PC PLAYERS: DONT LOG THROUGH STEAM

Recently People in NA PC got kicked from all servers, including me. I was unable to log on through steam link so I went into the ESO files to launch the game bypassing launcher. With that I typed in my UserID and Password abd was able to log in. THIS IS NOT SERVER DOWN; THIS IS A STEAM LINK ISSUE. IF YOU HAVE A USERID AND PASSWORD PREDATING STEAMLINK USE IT.

How do I know my login through steam as I have not been able to get it to work without steam

If you got the game after the steam link update occured I'm afraid this won't work for you. Those who got the game before it had a UserID and Password to log into the game, so we are able to use that. I'm sorry this couldn't help you. Steam is investigating this though, worry not.

I'd log in through the launcher without Steam... BUT I won't have access to any morrowind content. Isn't that awesome? Truly well designed system.

Actually, my guild group was kicked and nobody was logged in through Steam. But we got in again after a couple of tries.

I have a couple friends trying to relong again and again through steam, still isn't working for them unfortunately.

This has been showing up in the past but went away. I hate that steams holds my login and I can't login without it.

People are getting booted even without steam and bypassing the launcher . There server is having issues and there is a banner above stating it .

Do not know about steam but the NA PC server crashes happened for us non steam players also

i am playing through steam when it crashed, and i cant log in for many times i tried.
then i tried running it not through steam,and im back ingame. cheers.

While I am sure it is an issue for steam players, this is not limited to only steam players. Several of us, myself and my guild mates, do not use nor ever have used steam nor did we purchase the game through steam and have gotten kicked.

It's unwise to assume you know that the issue is related to one particular thing, it is wise to state how 'if you are a user of such and such' this is a fix.

But then how will I access Morrowind content? Even though my account has wardens, collector's edition emotes, and an apartment there... Seriously I have no idea why they went that route. Bought the base game via Steam. ! can play directly through the launcher or .exe, but if I want to go to that shiny new chapter I have to use Steam. Quality.
