There is a huge difference between the Spider mount and (in my case) the Black Lion mount, and the horses. The horses are just horrible on anything but the flattest of surfaces. I read somewhere ZoS claimed they couldn't replicate this, which has to be the greatest proof they don't play their own game ever.Gothlander wrote: »So, what I'm getting is that all mounts slow down when hitting invisible pebbles. Cool. I will stick with my horses then.

Let me see... I have doom wolf, that white one and normal one. In PvP it is stuck fest 9000 on each. You, sir, were fortunate af so far.

If my senche leaps while running, he lands and continues on at same running speed. Not the same as the whole pebble-collision thing, but it does tend to make the senche a more enjoyable riding experience. I have learned enough of the game terrain and ridden through enough towns and areas enough times to know trouble spots. I can often leap over them on my senche with no loss of speed. But if my horse leaps, he may miss pebble, but he kind of stumbles and slows down and needs to regain speed, so you don't really gain much.

I cant replicate this...2+ of play and there is no mount that gets stuck more often than any other. I have horses, guar, senche, lion, camel, even the kagouti and they are all the same, the only thing that is different between them is the skin.

At this point, I don't believe that YOU play the game.

By the reasoning put forth in this thread, short toons would get stuck more often than tall toons. Do mounts sometimes get stuck? Yes. Does the type of mount have anything to do with it? No, its completely random, people are just reading into it whatever they want. Provide some actual data to back the claim such as x number of hours logged on mount A, divided by y number of halts vs the same data for all the other mounts. I bet what you will find is that the ratio is the same, or close enough to be statistically insignificant.
