Let us make Mount stats account wide!

So tried of either using RL money or remebring to spend gold every day for 180 days every time i make a new char.. atleast make it so when you buy it on crown store, and not make me use 18k crowns on every char.. or make my everyday painfull, i was fine with it the first time, and the secound but NOT a thirth time... pls

Yea I'm on 12th char, and deleted a few that had max horses. It is ridiculous.

I don't mind the expense but at least if we've unlocked on one char allow us to just spend the gold in 1 big lump sum rather than per day. It's beyond annoying. I'm to the point I won't even play my new chars for a few months until my horse is ready.

But back then you could only have 60 points total in the horse (not max out all 3 stats, and each stat was limited to 50) and you had to stable the horse before you could use it on a different character.... AND you had to do it for every horse you owned.

I'd stop buying crown store mounts if they did that.

I think they should just make it so that you can buy mount training as many times as you want per day with gold but it doubles the price per point such as 250,500,1000,2000,4000 etc... then after 20 hours it resets the cost per point back to base.

The would allow another gold sink as well as make it more alt friendly.

They might as well do it. There's no limit on how quickly you can upgrade your bag if you have the gold for it. You can use gold at shrines instead of tokens to change your build. Veteran Ranks are dead and Champion Points are account wide. Dyes are account-wide unless they're just consumable stamps. And as of Morrowind, trait research time can now be paid away by purchasing research scrolls with writ vouchers, a currency you can acquire with enough time and patience on a high level character who has already built up their crafting skills. At this point enabling faster mount training without having to drop a ton of crowns on it would bring it up to speed with other character progression and customization.

Will NEVER happen!!! They make way too much money on riding lessons. I would love to see data, but I would be willing to bet that Riding Speed is one of their biggest sellers. I certainly buy some every time I make a new toon, and I aint the only one.

whenever you post a topic about making something account wide you have to see if it will impact their sales. If its yes. then account wide answer will be no.. I am honestly shocked they dont go the extra mile of doucheyness and make it so every character had to be leveled thru cp like they did back when it was veteran levels(hard to lvl alts then) Ive come to realize something about this company.. they are greedy.. want more for stuff than its worth. I have accepted this and pick and choose my battles when spending money on the game. I keep eso+ rolling now and thats about it.

The way they explained this when they changed to account wide mounts was that you are now training your character's riding skill rather than the mount itself.

They could just remove the cooldown and make the first points a little cheaper and the last ones more expensive. Or limit it to 10 points per day. 18 days to max the mount is still long for an alt and the total cost of 45k is still quite high for a new player.

The only reason they don't do it is the same reason they added a cooldown on the riding lessons for vouchers: the *** crown store

To be honest, trait research is kind of fine, I think, although the cooldown on the voucher items is as annoying as for the riding lessons. Especially since the crown store is the only reason for that.

Another idiotic decision by ZOS that should've been in the game from Day 1.

They probably know so many people will be impatient and just buy Crowns so easy $$$.

zos will never change this, as it is too lucrative for them. I hate them for it, but can't say I blame them. I park all my characters still training mounts at a stable when I log. Makes it much easier to remember to do the training daily. And if you're really hard core, like some idiot I know, you log in every 20 hours....knocks a month off mount training to 60 x 3.

I wish ESO plus had a perk to at least train each skill once daily. Or let this happen when you're main reaching 60/60/60. Basically I feel i need to make all my characters at once and train them most of the way before I can play them =\

Just be grateful they made the training available every 20 hours instead of 24 - as it used to be.

To be fair, you don't necessarily need all 3 lines leveled up. If you do a lot of PVP then speed is a real bonus and you don't really need bag space, if you do PVE, then bag space is a priority and riding speed is not essential. Horse stamina is always lowest priority on my books.

I have leveled 8 characters up in all riding skills without using the Crown store and am still going on another 3 newer characters. I'll just keep plugging away.....
