Sentient trees create a race of biological automatons to serve them. Some mages figure out a way to get them to serve them instead.
Where is the crime?
One thing is to be a servant and be payed for that, other thing is to be a FKKEN slave and live in slave pen. Once you grow up a bit, you might understand. Oh, well..
Oh, a argonian/argonian sympathyzer is lectering us...
Please, cut the crap and gtfo.
I am tired of your petty bs. If you support slavery, you are a sad being irl. This is not about Saxhleel folk only, this is about all slaves, no matter the race. I hate bretons but also set one breton slave from her master on all of my 14 characters. Slavery is worst concept ever.

On a more serious note, I think it's bad RP to being forced to take a anti-slavery, anti-assassins stance throughout the whole telvanni quests.

Whoa...
You know that we're playing a game, right? Yes, slavery is bad. But it's - especially in an entirely fictional world. And though I don't consider myself a role-player, I currently have an Argonian trapped in a cage in my dark elf's home. Because my character is evil. Because I can pretend to be someone evil because I know that pretending to be something doesn't make me that thing in my real life. Honestly... I thought I got immersed in my MMOs but if I was criticizing everything anyone did in this game just for laughs or perspective, I think I'd need a daily Valium.
Some guys rolleplayed as white dressed white folk running around and killing Redguards with fire based spells. Maybe they just saw that as "an interesting concept to explore". Guess what - they got their accounts banned.
Yes, because they're creating a parody of what most consider to be a horrific period of history. But don't lump a KK* parody in with Argonian hatred. One is a real world problem, which you're minimizing by comparing it to fictional art.

"an interesting concept to explore" - what you wrote about slavery. It is interesting that you can underdstand that racism some of these wannabe 3xK ppl "explored" is wrong, yet slavery is "interesting" to you. And mind you, both happened inside game.

Let's not play a game of semantics as I am well versed in the English language. I will explain this one time and one time only. Exploring issues like injustice and slavery through fiction is one way wisdom is imparted. In history classes, children often participate in the creation of mock governments so as to discover how their decisions ripple across a nation. In fact, all throughout adolescence, children are encouraged to use their imaginations because it is an excellent way to learn how the world works. Why is enslavement bad? A child can learn this simply by playing cops and robbers. Sitting in a prison isn't fun. Being told "no," isn't fun. And so, by playing with representations of our world, children learn freedom is desirable. The same goes for adults.
I can choose to play an evil-doer and discover how my actions ripple across Tamriel free of the consequences of real life because my doing so does not seek to harm or offend a real human being. The target of my offense is fictional. What's more, my fictional "prey" isn't even operated by a human. Yet, the people who participated in your 3K affair were preying on the values and morals of people playing this game by envoking a symbol of real world hate. I don't know why you are having difficulty distinguishing between the two as this is something most people learn very early on. For example, you're killing people in this game. I object to killing in real life. All killing is bad. Yet, I'm not angry with you because your act of killing is imaginary. Now apply this same logic to Argonian enslavement.

>speaking of children exploring fun new concept
>comparing that to ESO where you need to be 18+ to create account
If you teach your children using these or similar methods, I pity them for having such a parent.

Argonians aren't humans though. They have tails and stuff, and reproduce with eggs. They are different biological species, not just a different race. Or are you giving your speeches everywhere where people are using animals irl - farms, zoos, circuses, etc.
I get the feeling a lot of comments are going to be deleted.
Here's my input for posts to be deleted:
@Enslaved While I certainly do not side with @aliyavana , I find nothing wrong with slavery in games, stories, comics, and what not. People may support things that are humanly unacceptable, but as long as they know it's wrong and would never ever even think of doing it in reality, it's alright.
Honestly, in a parallel universe, where Dunmer are slaves to the Argonians, I would be roleplay a slaver too once in a while. Why? Because I legally can, and because no actual people are being harmed.
It's the "Ceci n'est pas un pipe" example: This is not a pipe, it's an image of a pipe. Same here, it's not a human being, it's an virtual image of a human with artificial intelligence.
Also, you think slavery shouldn't be supported in anything at all, so why do you support mass murder? It's war, yes, but it's still murder. And what about stealing? Players who devote themselves to the Thieves guild and Dark brotherhood?
It's all about knowing the line between what's acceptable and what's not and staying on the right side of it.

Ok, then, please, explain, why is rolleplaying as racist and burning Redguards a bad thing while slavery is "ok, since it is only in game". I highly doubt banned ppl used to murder and burn to death ppl irl.
Also, if you think Zos is ok with in game slavery, why is there no means for your chars to own slaves?
