Mister Lambert tear down this wall!

The one around Red Mountain, of course!! While hunting for treasure chests last night I ended up circumnavigating Red Mountain, diving into every single crevice I could fine, and occasionally attempting to climb the impossible slopes. The climbing, it turns out, was the easy part, the hard part was THOSE DARN INVISIBLE WALLS EVERYWHERE. Apparently ZOS would rather blow up Red Mountain in 4E than let me climb it. That's such a gross, flippantly bourgeois, reverse-posadist thing to do.

I had so much fun trying to climb and jump around rocks, it's a darn shame it kept ending abruptly and unpredictably! Why not encourage that kind of behavior instead? Add rewards for climbing! Add hidden treasure chests! Chests under rocks! Chests under lava! Put chests upside-down!! Make chests you need to levitate to get to! Screw it, we'll find a way! Just... no more walls!!

Why do that when Zeni could just leave parts of the game undeveloped and still sell it for a stupidly high price for such a small amount of actual content?

I've always wanted to see what the game would look like if we could texture invisible walls with a semi-translucent texture.

I'm guessing that would be modifying the game files more than allowed though.

You'd probably notice that the game has more in common with a rail shooter than an open-world RPG.

Rivenspire is probably the smallest zone as far as its explorability:landmass ratio

I hope you're not referring to Morrowind. Like, sure, there didn't seem to be quite as many quests as I'd hoped for, but as far as explorable area goes it's HUGE. As I said in the OP I ran around last night looking for treasure chests, so I got a really good idea for just how big it is. Additionally, unlike many other zones, a great many of the "impassable rocks" are actually scaleable to one degree or another, all they're missing is Cool Stuff on top/hidden away in crevices. This is actually one of my major complaints compared to a zone like Craglorn, which seems to have a more appropriate density of treasure chest spawn areas.

IDK I was just stringing words together because I was mad. Reverse-posadist totally makes sense though, as Red Mountain totally blows up in 4E and goes nuclear on the whole of Vvardenfell, but while standard posadism believes nuclear war is the "ultimate realization of revenge against the bourgeoisie" or somesuch, here it would be the ultimate punishment against the working class. Of course, that's super ironic as it imagines the role of the game player as the laborer and the game-makers as the owning class, and that's only like, half-true at best. ;-)
