As long as we keep throwing money at it, that's what we're going to get. I'm sure that if people only spent money on new trials, we'd get a new trial every month. So what we're really complaining about is that those of us with money to spend don't want to spend it on the same things that those of us without money to spend wish we could spend the money we don't have on. While it sucks, it's not going to change.

Agreed. Money changes behavior. We're obviously dangling carrots in front of ZOS in wrong direction.

yeah yeah yeah like say mundus stones for housing or new houses in morrow or the upcoming already announced new battleground spot (and was it a new game too?) in the dlcs later this year.

    altfacts or altgloats?

If you call those new features then were doomed. Lol.

Remember the outlaw refuges? Remember how some of them have a room with lots of paintings and valuable stuff? You can just furnish your room like that. So, like a criminal's hideout, with lots of ill-gotten goods waiting to be transported. This way you don't have to hang the paintings all up on the wall.

ESO needs to introduce a furniture bag separate from the rest of one's inventory. Similar to crafting bag, but not necessarily infinite.

i figure they want you to buy more houses and use them for storage facilities.

    win/win.

all these defending zenimax messages must be employees. I get the hating limited. There's stuff that other games I play release and I don't want it right away but later I may be interested in buying it. Like for me right now I don't really like any of the overpriced houses. There may be a day they release a good one I like and then some limited item maybe would have worked out. If it's limited and I don't need it now but later that time will never come.

I totally get the need to vent about it, but the bottom line is ZoS is a business and so far it would seem crown items are selling well enough to warrant the continued addition of them. First step to change it is to vote with your wallet, you can enjoy the game free of charge.

I myself will buy it and the house though.

I agree, not a fan of the very limited-timed items in the Crown Store. At least give us two weeks to get a paycheck or two in Zenimax. I'd rather spend my money before putting it into savings rather than having to pull some $ out after I deposited it for some virtual housing items.

That's why I only pay for real content, not fluff. I mean extra areas, group content, sets, skill points, maybe skill lines. That will make you chars more powerful. And generally I consider housing a waste of time and resources. That's why I stopped at the free ones just after the patch and didn't even place any furniture in it. Rather than grind mats, hunt in guild stores and simply waste hours moving furniture around I'd rather play new builds in different settings, farm actually useful gear and generally better myself at the game. Time is the most precious resource.

I was surprised by the cost of the furniture set. It wasn't worth it in my opinion so I didn't buy it. I didn't not experience any greed or ZOS being pushy about it. Many companies do a limited time offer. ZOS can do what they want and you can decide to buy or not to buy. Honestly, there is better looking furniture out there.

Hello all :) little note before I start writing what I consider to be a feedback, I do not want to argue just want to let ZO$ ppl to know how it feels sometimes to play eso.
I am not too stressed about greed since I cannot afford most of the store stuff hehe I just find the pricing absolutely senseless: some flower costs like a mount? some outfit robes costs almost like a dungeon? a house costs twice more than 4-dlc pack??? whoa, really.
What I find most disgraceful is no accordance between sloppy work (exploitation of popular game title I call it) and money asked for it. Here is few examples:
    - this one actually drove me mad enough finally to ask access on forums and start writing :) That limited Telvanni Tower house. I visited it not because I wanted to buy it (8k/10k crowns, ouch) just out of curiosity. And what I see? Some stone building with ground floor wider than a top one, covered with some flesh-looking something produced by unhealthy daedroth (thats how I see it anyways) with a mushroom on top... how is it called when developers not even bothered to read the lore before producing something like that and ask so much money for it? Telvanni Tower IS a mushroom! grown by the wizard using special telvanni sorcery and nurtured constantly after that by mycologist. Does that house "creation" looks like any mushroom we saw?..
    - Elden Root. just because I recently visited it again. Eldenroot supposed to be a graht-oak, on par with Falinesti, with bosmer living inside numerous natural dwellings within the mighty branches. Does Eldenroot in game looks anything near to that description? Does it looks like anyone living there at all? For me it is several randomly located instances with stone floors (no less) connected by some link-doors, which imho totally messed up since I do have certain sense of direction :)
    - My favourite Autumn's-Gate house... did u know it has 6 windows inside the house and only 4 outside? :-D even such a simple model had to be done sloppy like that, I am not even starting on dimensions.
    - Beast races. Why is that khajiiti or argonians have to have human bodies? Is that laziness? Carelessness?
And there are plenty more examples like that, I just picked those from top of my head.
I understand that game needs to earn money to continue, but I do think the money must be well-earned and I do not think it is so. And this is what gives that unpleasant taste in the mouth after playing every time.

What is "high pressure" about giving you four days to decide to buy or not buy on an item when you apparently reached a successful "no buy" decision within hours of release - maybe within minutes?

If so, seems like the sooner that anxiety is removed, the better.

If not, if you made your decision and not sweating it since... what high pressure were you subjected to or victimized by?

Where and how did this high pressure touch you?

It tok me maybe 13.72 nano-jiffies to reach my buy or no buy decision and the only pressure involved was that presdure my finger used to click to close the box so i could continue to do what i wanted to do - have fun playing the game.

I was waiting for it to come out but when I saw that it was 4k and 4 days, I decided I won't be purchasing it both due to the cost (not enough value in my eyes for that price) and I refuse to give in to high pressure sales tactics."
