Most people who actually bother with the forums are people who have been playing for a while. Like I didn't make a forum account and start participating in them until a year after creating my account, and I'm sure many others do too, or just simply don't ever bother making a forums account. So obviously the results here are completely inaccurate of what actually goes on in the game and how many newbies there are compared to people who have played longer so I don't think it says anything at all about their target audience or who they should be catering towards.Edited by Voxicity on June 19, 2017 2:19PM4 -

Jan 8th 2014, I was so excited, then every Beta weekend until Early Access and Launch.......
I have taken no breaks, have all the loyalty rewards and have always been subbed!
I just "/played" my Sorc who is now mostly my crafter(original Main) she's on 183 days
My Templar who I now consider my main is on 91 days.......
I have 12 characters in total some of which are just storage BUT 4 of these "lesser" characters I do below 50 PVP with. I hate to think what my total "/played" hours would be......
Maybe my husband has a point??

See I am also new here (3-4 mos).
While leveling through the zones most of the players I saw did not have any CP notation on their nameplates which mean they are also new like us...
Also just curious how the heck you got 4 50s...power leveled via dolmens ???
I have never grinded. Admittedly I tried, more than once especially on 4th char, but never lasted even 1 level. I just can't do it.
In fact I think I wasted time porting/loading when I could have just played. I'm surprised because I thought I was leveling rather slow, given my non-sub status, no training gears, and rather limited time due to wife/kids. I mean, is 2 weeks per char considered fast? I don't think so..
What I do is very ordinary:
- Do all noobie island quests
- Pick a faction and focus on faction main quests only
- Grab all shards and complete all Dolmens within the faction
- If I see a dolmen that's active I go do it
- Daily dungeons if I have time
- Public dungeons if my buddy is online

That remains my favorite time playing this game and it doesn't hurt that it was free.
I've left and come back 2 or 3 times since then. ESO and I have a turbulent but passionate relationship. ZOS frequently drives me nuts with certain balance decisions and with broken or absent features (BGs is the most recent) but so far I've always come back like a heartbroken lover who can't stay away.0 -

Beta player here. I feel you dude. Soon after I hit cadwell silver, they nerfed pve difficulty into the ground. That was a sad day. It was the only real challenge outside of dungeons and pvp that taught players how to approach groups of difficult mobs. Today it is just spamming 1 ability and win.Newcomers wont know the pain of those "veteran" areas during the first few months of the game lol
