It's a very human thing to try and break something and make it easier / cheat it. It is the job of the developers to ensure that it isn't possible. Asking people not to try and exploit, is trying to repress a very human trait and won't get you anywhere.
Sadly this will continue to happen no matter how much ZOS patch the game and each issue.
There are a lot of people with the mentality in the game to abuse every issue they find for advantage, and ZOS hasn't done a very good job of enforcing that it's bad.

Z0$ have shown they are incompetent at making exploit free content. They hardly enforce exploiting and cheating. Add these together and yes it will encourage people to try these things.
Still doesn't change the Z0$ team are incapable of coding ESO to any decent standard. Every title and achievement has been exploited, multiple times.

I've always been great at finding ways to escape maps. Would it be worth trying to do this in Halls of Fabrication before someone else does?
The purpose of this would be to report how to escape HoF in order to prevent another disaster like what happened in vMoL. I just question if ZOS would care/respond if such an exploit was found though.
I'll be pretty angry if HoF gets exploited like MoL did.
If ppl know ways to get out of map, send the info to @ZOS_Finn viq private message
@DRXHarbinger
I have already pinged a ticket over with video. Guild mate discovered it by accident and naturally curiosity followed. It took 12 people a good 6hrs solid to navigate around it and it is unlikely it'll be found anytime soon. We have all our staves already (legitimately too rng was kind) so it's not being rinsed.
As for the vMoL thing. Surely it isn't hard to just make a kill zone all around the pathways that were intended rather than this add a wall here and there.

Another bug to bypass things and now it is posted on the forums for all to know about .....
All you did was let everyone on the forums know about it, not solve the issue .....
You should of done this thru tech support and not the forums .....
So this explains why I've seen a few CP200-400 Dromathra Destroyers. Let alone with the skin. Hmmm... I wonder how much longer we have until we hear about how ZOS decided to suspend these player's accounts for 3 days, but allow them to keep their: Loot, skin, and title.

You dont get the skin/title if you exploit VMOL. Those low CP's just got carried. l2getcarried.

Lmao. I don't know if I should give you an insightful or awesome. I'll go with the insightful, as that probably will go further. Thanks for that bit for information. I suppose it's true that you learn something new everyday.

So THATS what the "Cheese" was, wow. I assumed at most the Boss would react but attacks couldn't reach you or something, didn't think the Boss just stood there and took it.
Damn, why console plebs are always exploiting? ><

For the record I've never exploited VMOL bc I could care less about the sh*t pve in this game. I just know ppl who have and they have not received the skin/title.
rafaelcsmaia wrote: »IMO the issue on MOL can easily be perma fixed, however its up to ZOS if they want to do a band aid fix (Like disabling mounts or invisible walls) or do the right thing.
My solution would be to make the door lock mechanism (the one that prevents you from advancing to the next room without killing the boss/ads) work both ways, so that you cant skip the trial and come opening the doors from "inside". This alone would kill chest farming.
To avoid Rakkhat room cheese, just make the trigger for the dialog and wall break tied to the opening of the door, rather than entering the zone, this would avoid all exploits since ppl wouldnt be able to break the walls without going through the content.
Will they listen? Probably not
Everyone here is acting all noble and heroic but are you telling me not one person who's commented has done it or is doing it?
Escaping the map is something I do for fun on like every zone in Tamriel. Maw of Lorkhaj has an awesome area to explore but I wouldn't dare do it thanks to this exploit
Whenever I try to find ways outside the bounds it always seems impossible. Invisible walls are EVERYWHERE. The Gold Coast especially, I tried so hard to see what was on the other side of Varen's Wall.

@mb10 Deadass! You always are talking straight facts. Lmao. People out here "discovering" new things, and acting like upon finding it that they didn't reap the rewards lowkey a few times before turning in their findings of what was exploitable.
They were probably like, "Hmmm... I think we found ourselves something here. Aye, are you streaming? If you're streaming or recording, cut that off real quick. Let's 'experiment' a bit, and see what's really going on. Then after a little bit of dabbling here and there we'll submit a ticket of this and that being exploitable. It beats doing this crap from start to finish a few hours to get some gear."

@ArchMikem The Gold Coast is the only zone (besides Cyrodii which I avoid, and the island zones lol) that I have yet to escape. There IS a way though to get past Varen's Wall. You need Werewolf+Pheonix to cross the long river - I have seen a video of someone doing it. His Youtube is "Sharmony".
