Who was the person who designed the Poisonous Serpent set, and why were they allowed to call it POISONOUS Serpent? Serpents are venomous, not poisonous. I hope that you fire your Ophidiologist and hire a new one.

If you eat a snake and you get sick and die from a chemical in the snake is it not both venomous and poisonous?

It is likely called poisonous because it causes poison damage and there is no venom damage

Also the pieces are called "of Venom" right? So there is your venom reference

If it proced on taking damage I would have no objection. But it procs on DEALING damage, like a snake biting something. Which is venom.

DK's have Venomous claws which is poison damage. So kind of agree with OP, should have been named differently. Though not a huge deal.

We have much bigger problems than the name of sets.

    Example:
    Dungeon finder
    Bg grouping
    Animations not working
Some abilities randomly dont work at times
    Getting stuck in a chair

These all should come way before fixing the name of a set. Who really cares what the name is lol?

The serpent part is irrelevant, as it's an inanimate object amplifying damage based on an already existing poison.

If it wanted to be clearer in how the damage was being amplified, it could use either toxic (using a toxin from a living thing) or infectious (blood poisoning from the existing wound). But that's overthinking it.

Just because its not a super huge issues doesn't mean that if someone find something they feel is off that they should have to be silent about it. He found something he thought was off and so he told us all about it on the forums. There are plenty of small issue threads all over, no need to go hacking on any of them.

I find it appalling that this was a issue worth noting at the current state of the game right now..thats all
