✭✭✭✭Uh, since you also asked about proc Sets you may want to jump the fotm bandwagon and play a procblade.
Drain their stamina with constant cc. If they cant break free, they cant reapply shields. That is your window to burst them down. mS are a strong 1v1 class, so it's not unusual to struggle a bit in duels.2 -

✭✭✭✭Any time the sorc doesn't have CC immunity you should be CC'ing him. Attack his Stam pool and wait for him to overcommit to his own burst and counter it with your own, less telegraphed, more dangerous burst.
Also, you really should have viper, Selene, or both on Stamblade or you're gimping yourself1 -
