PS4 Max Character Number not Available

Hi, I've just came back to the game on PS4 and saw that there was no option for me to create character number 8. When I deleted one character I was able to create a new one, but not more than 7.

I always thought that 8 was the maximum number of characters allowed without purchasing extra slots.
Has that changed? Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

    I also had this problem. I believe it is a bug.

    @Marthren Did the problem get fixed for you? And if so, how? I've heard from my sister that her account only allows her to create 10 characters, even though it should be 11. Kind of annoying especially for someone who paid extra for those slots.

    I too experienced this issue. Due to the increased bank space, I deleted a mule toon, which left me with one slot of the previous maximum 12 available. Unable to create a new character, despite having paid for that slot. This clearly needs fixed, I'm not deleting fully levelled toons because of this bug on PS/4.
