Hey all,

Im actually looking for a good build for battleground as a stamina sorc (redguard) and would like to get some constructive advises.

At the moment I run :

- 5x spriggan + 1x Kragh + 5 x Eternal Hunt
- 5 medium + 1 Light + Heavy, probably not opti but so far I like it, considering whether I need to go to Heavy armor though

- Bar 1 (2H) : Critical Charge, Reverse Slice, Brawler, Rally ,Streak, Ulti : Dawnbreaker of Smiting for small group (Sometimes Negate for bigger groups or when I feel like it would help)
- Bar 2 (Bow) : Poison injection, Shuffle, Critical Surge, Resolving Vigor, Hurricane

What would you advise for BG optimisation in terms of gear and skills as stamina sorc ? I didnt find data for battlegrounds yet

Feel free to share some good ideas

If you really want to wreck face, use 2h and 1hs with clever alchemist on 1hs bar, together with agility jewelry and 2 pc kena. 5 heavy 1m 1l. Not very sustainable, but when kena procs together with clever alchemist your weap dmg becomes around 5.5k and you can wreck a guy in a few hits. Let alone smash multiple foes all together with a dawnbreaker. You DEFINATELY want to slot wrecking blow. It will be your main source of dmg as stam sorc.

Another nice build I have seen is 1hs on back bar, with the shield ult, clever alchemist, agility jewelry and then with the 2 piece pirate skelly. Tanky as hell in a 1v1 and when pirate skelly procs, you can activate shield ult when it runs out and you have a very long frame of time where you can go all out offensive, while your opponent is not doing much dmg back to you.

Just some stuff I have seen from a guildie I pvp and duel with.

From the first lookI'd change out Brawler with Wreckling Blow or Dizzying Swing and, if your crit chance is low, crit surge with d/d. If you can take a breather via streak, dodge, LoS or 1h/s ultimate this can help you with your sustain problem if you go for Koensols advice.
Also, if you change from Bow to 1h/s you can either go with Ransack (debuff) if you use Dizzying Swing( CC) or, if you choose Wrecking Blow you can use Reverb Bash for the major defile and the stun. Great Skill. The 1h/s ultimate also lets you freely spam dark deal.

No problem slotting Wrecking blow, i used to put Dizzying swing but trying brawler at the moment for the shield.

How to manage the sustain with such build though ? d/d ?

Any other advise or gear idea? is alchemist really worth it ?

I don't think brawler will get you far. The costs are same dizzying swing while you put out 1/3 of the initial damage. Since probably spam it, you wont make good use of the bleeding. Also if you need to have your opponents tightly stacked for the AoE.
The shield it grants is to small. My tooltip states 900ish per opponent hit. That's one tick of a dot, a light attack, one second in caltrops or hurricane.
At least it is an instant cast, I myself struggle a bit with the long build up of dizzying swing. But still I don't think it could be replaced by brawler. If that is the reason you prefer brawler, you mind want to think about switching to dw.

In the kena/ alchemist build you sustain via d/d. You've got the high damage output for only a few seconds. That is when you need to go all in, so only resources you need after that are for retreating to wait until you can proc clever alchemist again. At least that is what I would do with that set-up, hit and run.

On the other hand, if you like cheese, proc sets are hella strong, especially in no-cp.

What proc sets would you advise ? selene? velidreth ?

Dizzying for the CC. I'd also recommend velidreth in place of selenes if you're maining 2h. I've found selenes to somewhat unreliable in the past when relying primarily on heavy+dizzying.
    Xbox One NA
    GT: the broo11
Spell Casting Wizard - medium 2h/bow stam sorc

Depends on what else you run. If you've got no other hard CC, Dizzy is the way to go. Streak is no reliable CC since it get's you out of melee range. But if you run something like Reverb Bash you can go for wrecking blow.

Okay, diversity. I can't exactly tell how good these will fare in Morrowind no-cp but it's a base you can alter to your needs.

If you want a tanky set-up, run 2x Troll King, 5x Knight's Errant/ Seventh Legion/ Fasalla's and, depending how you're doing, 5pc regen set (Bone pirates etc) or a proc set (viper, red mountain).
Health regen can't be gutted like heals. Viper procs reliable every 4 seconds on every melee but not on ranged weapon dmg. Red mountain CAN proc more frequent on every weapon ability, but not on everything melee (hurricane) + it hit's harder, especially on vamps. That said farming viper is easier.

If you want unsustained burst go with said 2x Kena 5x clever alchemist, 3x agility. If you choose medium over heavy you'll reach close to 6k weapon damage with everything procced.

If you want a DW DoT build go for 2x Skoria, 5x Alchemist, 5x Bone Pirates -> dmg too low? 3x agility, 2x leki instead of BP

If you want more cancer go for 2 x troll, 5x red mountain, way of fire on a health regen build, so no vamp. Heavy would suit the theme better but if you unconditionally want medium, again, viper.

Since you can hardly raise your crit dmg, but easily mitigate it via impen, you might want to trade thief mundus for something else like regen, stam or weapon dmg.

The reason why proc sets are insanely strong in no cp is that they dont scale with your dmg and resources. You can invest them elsewhere and still have high burst potential.

If you don't like farming bone pirates, try marksman. That doesn't come in any other weapon but bows, so you're a bit stinted.

@Chilly-McFreeze Do you advise to go heavy all the way or stay medium ? I enjoy medium mobility but find myself to lack tankyness

Thought I'd share my build just to give you more ideas. It's far from BiS but it hits hard!

Race: orc (speed and wpn dmg is good)
5 Heavy shacklebreaker (some sustain/increased stam and wpn dmg)
    2 Medium Viper & 3 viper jewellery
    Sharpened 2hw sword (I don't have maelstrom)
    Defending bow

I use weapon power potions, tri-stat enchants on the two, large pieces, max stamina on the rest, wpn dmg on jewels and weapons.

I want to get viper weapons and go DW so I can run one monster helm.

I have a stam dk running medium clever alchemist, agility, monster sets etc and it doesn't hit as hard as my sorc.

    5x heavy stackle, all impen
    2x tremor
    5x viper (jewellery + s&B)

Either viper 2h axe or MSA axe preferred but any 2h axe back bar.

Use a few tri glyphs on the big pieces

Dubious drink + 1x regen glyph

    Thief mundus.

    PS4 EU DC

    Current CP : 756+

I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...

Appreciated guys, will check it out. But how comes Shackle is better than stamina sets ? Surprising :)

I think im gonna try your build :-)

Starting to tink I should give heavy a try :-)

Shackle, If you split it down you get:
    Weapon dmg
    Stam regen
    Stamina
    Stamina
+ 2x magicka for surge, streak, dark deal
+ Mag regen for Same Utilities

Ok spell dmg is useless here but the sheer amount of main and secondary stats is awesome.

To your question to me: i prefer ha but its not easy to sustain and burst in it.

Shackle breaker is just an all around solid set, providing regen and wpn damage and a good chunk of max stats including magicka which is very helpful for d/d and streak. Good to have around 12 or 13k magicka with a stam sorc.

Atm i'm having succés running dw/bow in bg's. 5 redmountain 5 viper 2 troll king. With this i run serpent mundus, gold food with tri regen and health.

Weakness is no cc outside streak and dbos. Troll king makes it possible to run without rally. Build is very mobil and i can even run bound arments with some utility skills on overload bar like trap and caltrops.

On the other hand, if you like cheese, proc sets are hella strong, especially in no-cp.

If you have a Master 2H, brawler does an incredible amount of damage (in addition to the shields). I would never run Carve or Brawler without the Master weapon, though. The shield is nice, but the damage is low, especially for how long the animation takes.

U.D. is really cheap in the stores nowadays. I got my full set (jewls, SnB) for under 7.5k yesterday.

I saw sixty5's build and it seems really interesting. But there kicks in my old conflict between fortified and impregnable, although I think Impreg really shines in CP environments more.

On Impreg you loose out on 6.4k resistance
On Impreg you gain 500-1500 impen (from 41% on FB up to 60% on IA), 2.5k stam, 1.1k mag (both after modifiers) and 1-3 armor traits of your choice

I think Fortified is better but it's on you to make that trade off. However, Impreg gives you resources, which you said you struggle to get. I am a cheap ass that's low on mats and have Impreg already golded, so I go with that, even if it's not BiS.
