Just got the Morrowind/ESO bundle from Gamestop. Installed game and immediately bought ESO Plus. Didnt realize all the DLC content was attached to ESO Plus and purchased the 5500 crown dlc bundle, Guilds and Glory.... is there any way i can get my crowns back? I would think you wouldnt be able to make that purchase if i was already an ESO Plus member.....

Ps4 id is: jcooper0616
ESO in-game name is: SkapeGoat

Contact Sony For the Refund. They are the ones Who Took Your Money.

The System Kinda Works Like This:
Customer (Sends Purchase> (Sony/Microsoft Recives Money > Bill's Your Sony/Microsoft Account > (Data of purchase is sent to ZoS> (ZoS Sends Crowns to Customer)

There May be a share of the profit somewhere.
But Correct me if im Wrong.

    Its the way Microsoft works.
I know Cause I had the same problem and I had to Contact Xbox/Microsoft 2 times For a full $80.00 refund.

The thing is with the DLCs. If you at some point stop your ESO+ subscription you will lose access to those DLCs. Because you purchased that DLC bundle that now if you stopped your ESO+ you will continue to have access to the DLCs

The DLCs are not attached per se. It is just one of the benefits of ESO+

As a non ESO+ member you can still purchase them with crowns.

Yes the progression stays, you just can't access it if you didn't purchase the DLCs or didn't have ESO+. But since you purchased the bundle. You will always have access to it whether you have an active ESO+ subscription or not.

For example. I was a ESO+ subscriber but had to cancel due to Financial issues. I no longer have access to the DLCs. Once I subscribe again I can continue where I left off.
