Hi I am not sure if this is the right place to post this but i'm not sure where to go at this point lol. Ok so here is the deal. I have access to my account, I can sign on and play the game and everything but I bought the game 3 years ago and haven't played for about 2 so I would like to change my password to a new one and just update my account but there is a small problem. It asked me a security question and for some reason I can not remember what I put for the answer years ago. So I can't change anything on my account :( I want to buy the morrowind expansion but not until i get this fixed because i'm paranoid lol. I tried to send in a ticket and I am honestly baffled at what they asked for. Just to send in a simple ticket to ask them how to fix this they ask crazy questions like when the exactly date and time of my last sign in or when the last date i bought crowns was..... I don't know that was like 3 years ago lol. then at the end they ask for proof of purchase.... Like they want an actual picture of the receipt i got from gamestop 3 years ago and without that picture they will not let me send the ticket. I am sorry but that is ridiculous. I don't have a receipt from 3 years ago and I have never seen a game ask for that just for a simple ticket. Sorry for the small rant lol I just want help with this. Does anyone know what to do? thank you

    No it isn't ridiculous. They want proof that you are the actual owner of the account. It is a verification step. For all they know you could have stolen the account and are trying to get in to change stuff so you have full access to it.

    Ok so its a verification step. So what do I do if I don't have the receipt? Im not here to get into an argument about what is and isnt ridiculous. I am here to ask the simple question of what do I do now? I just want to ask customer service or someone that can help me but I can't without a picture a a receipt that I do not have. There has to be some way to fix this. I am only asking on the forums because they would not let me send a ticket :(

    Does the eso staff even come into this forum? Nobody can answer it apparently so I need to talk to someone official. Anyone know how to send them a ticket without having to show proof of purchase?
