I have never seen a MMO Game where you can Craft Jewelry.

If ESO did this, it would be my first time Seeing such thing in an MMO.

I think, as far as AAA MMO's go, there aren't many that have jewelry, crafting, but inability to craft jewelry. Most have it, because it is such an insanely obvious concept, and if you can craft chainmail, you CAN craft rings and earrings. The concepts really are not that different on how to make the base components, and chainmail is WAY more difficult since you then have to combine those things. So, no clue why ZOS has, thus far, left jewelry crafting out of ESO =/

Old thread but people were saying that it would allow for ''OP'' combos like 5 piece julianos + 5 piece twice born star and stuff like that , then a few months later one tamriel dropped and you suddenly have access to new jewelry from old sets allowing you to make 2 five piece sets combinations that were not possible before( I think), and that apparently were even more OP than combining 2 five piece crafted sets.

As for jewelry crafting it should be added to the enchanting skill line imo, and using the same potency improvement ranks for the levels.

-Add a tab for jewelry decon and one for jewelry creation to the enchanting station.
-Add new ore/ingots for jewelry with the same tiers as wood/metal/cloth.
-Add a passive for higher chance for mats on rings/amulet decon and better refinement from the new jewelry ores(like metal extraction,etc), OR add that effect to the current Runestone Extraction passive.
-Add a passive to increase the chance of improving jewelry(like temper expertise,etc)
-Add green/blue/purple and gold upgrade mats for jewelry upgrading that you get from salvaging rings/amulets or from refining the new jewelry ores.
-Add those new jewelry ore nodes to the Keen Eye: Rune Stones passive effect.
-Add jewelry stuff to the enchanting hireling passive maybe?
-Allow for jewelry crafting in the same sets that already exist for armor/weapons, and maybe add new 3 piece craftable jewelry only sets.

I might have missed something but I think that most people can figure that it's just using existing crafting elements/passives/etc and modify them to allow jewelry crafting.

Simplest way to do this would be to add crafted set jewelry to loot table in the zone with crafting station.

Not to keep whipping the deceased equine, but I am having trouble thinking of an MMO where one couldn't craft jewelry or something for those kinda slots.

But it would be freakin' awesome if we could craft jewelry in ESO. Heck, I'd like to see a whole crafting revamp. As long as I am wishing: wouldn't it be nice if they fixed the collision mechanics on Charge...

It's called Tinkering or Jewel Crafting and many MMO's have had it.

For ESO TInkering would be an amazing thing to add in any update.

What does xp grinding have to do with gear grinding/farming swit? Rng is the way it is to artificially extend our playtime and jewellery is part of that grind

Neverwinter, EQ2, WoW, Path of Exile, just to name a few haha... If anything ESO needs to step up their game...

Edit: Well I guess path of exile isn't an mmo but you get the point.

You can craft Jewelry in Lord of the Rings Online, World of Warcraft And Everquest 2

Everquest Online Adventures for the PS2 had Jewelry Crafting...
