Get Rich Quick

Been grinding for a week to get 65k for my house doing loads of dungeons selling EVERYTHING and getting nowhere fast, all the youtube videos are crap and just full of flashy stuff designed to get subs but none actually help.

Suppose what I'd like to know is there anywhere I can go grind for gold at a much quicker rate than doing dungeons or does fast cash not exist?

There is a lot of buzz for green pact/plague doctor items. Haven't seen this many people go into it since spinners and spriggans got introduced. I met a person who sold their items for 100k right before morrowind dropped, not a realistic number in my eyes but basically you'll get a lot of gold. Sturdy body pieces, purple jewelry and reinforced/sturdy/infused shields will sell the most.

I'm just selling to venders atm, sure I'll get into trading with real people at some point but now don't even know what's what, just wanna get this house so I can get back to questing and enjoying the freedom again.

Not sure what the quickest way is. Easiest way is to get all your toons to at least level 12 in Blacksmithing, Woodworking, Enchanting and Clothing and get the rank 2 hireling(Get it to level 32 if you can for rank 3 hireling). Then just log in daily and collect the tempers and raw matts. Provisioning is also good for hirelings.

Come on friend you can't make money without using the trade system in game. Everything else is going to be a grind because actual players are the only ones who will find value in what you are selling.

I thought this thread was going to be a khajiit pyramid scheme plan.... a bit disappointed.

    Anyway,
A stack of soul gems sell to vendors for I think 6k? They fill really quickly at dolmens if you tag every mob with the soul gem skill (forgot the name).

There is always stealing and/or turning in writs.

Blob ESO has good videos on YouTube describing how to enter the guild trader business & make coin... it's arguably the best way to make gold once you get the hang of it (most effective on PC due to add-ons for trading).

Via stealing & selling, you can make about 11k in 1/2 hour if you have you're legerdemain skill maxed to be able to sell 140 items per day. I've also heard folks say they can make similar coin in 1/2 an hour grinding mobs while wearing prosperous gear (personally haven't tried that one myself).

Then there is always node farming...raw mats usually always sell, or you can refine the raw stuff & sell the yellow mats & refined mats.

There is always gear grinding too... finding a zone that has gear that is usually in high demand & grinding that zone for the goodies (may RNGesus be with you). Bangkorai (Spriggan set) & Stonefalls (Red Mountain & Silks of the Sun sets) are two such zones. If you PvP alot you can buy the boxes from those zones with AP & might get lucky with some decent stuff to sell.

Good luck on your quest to make it rain gold, getting some gold teeth, putting some ice on your Atmer girls neck, getting golden shoes for your horse, etc.

You're probably going to have a hard time making a lot of money until you do start selling to other players. Having said that, I make about 15k/day just doing crafting writs, but I do a lot of writs on a lot of characters. I've heard that you can make up to 20k stealing and selling green/blue/purple items to a fence (should be about 30k+ if you you only do blue/purple by my math). You'll need the passive in Legerdemain that allows you to sell more items

Without selling to other players it seems you're pretty limited. I can't really think of anything else (though I'm sure others will).

I can make 65k in a week just by stealing everything that's not nailed down. And if it's nailed down.....pry it up!

Yeah without getting into a guild it can be tough to get a lot of money quick. you could always have someone craft a full set of prosperous gear for farming in. I've heard the public dungeon in Rivenspire can be a decent place to utilize that gear.

So soul gems and robbing seems best so far since I'm not wanting to get into trading with so much other stuff still to learn and do first.

I have no idea lol, they just keep dropping. Some of them spawn on tables/altars and stuff in dungeons, some come from mob loot, some from chests. I don't keep track of where I get them from, I just know I have way much more than I'd ever use.

Yep. An hour a night gets me 105k gold a week. Find a good thief route, don't fence anything less than 100 GP (including white Treasures), and you'll have that house in no time. This is how I saved up for no less than 5 houses, including a Medium one, no Guild Traders required. :)

"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

What server you on? A lot of trash mobs drop intricate stuff which if you just get a good farm rotation going can add up quick. A few runs of dungeons nets me about 15k of white green rubbish.

Probably the fastest way to earn gold is going around to every guild trader in the world, buying tons of stuff that is on sale cheap and then reselling on guild trader in a high traffic area.

Otherwise, you can try to farm dungeon bosses for some specific sharpened weapon, pickpocket/kill NPCs and fence the loot, make stacks of food and sell it to any NPC vendor, farm for flowers and mats that you can sell on guild trader, craft poisons, potions, food, furniture etc. Not sure how popular the new Morrowind crafted sets are, but maybe you can also make some items and sell those.

EU, mostly I come out a dungeon and theres not even 500 worth of stuff to sell on, it's depressing to sometimes spend so long for so little.

You can make 65K easily if you are in a trade guild by just running around the starter islands and harvesting everything and refining them. Sell the golds, purples, blues, the top flowers, and the refined mats. 65K is probably several hours of farming.

If you have Orsinium, there are always two easily-stealable ones in the Keep (the king's castle in the city of Orsinium). You don't even have to sneak to get them, because there are no NPCs in that room.

Prior to the NPC respawn nerf, it was possible to cap out your green & blue stolen items off murdering NPC's in locations where they would literally respawn in 2-3 seconds.
Repeat that on 5+ toons with max legerdemain, and you could easily bank 65-90K/day with about an hour worth of effort.

Sadly, Zo$ nerfed this, so making coin from theft is much more difficult to do.
Best approach is to steal from large buildings where there are multiple NPC's to kill, drawers/desks/chests/nightstands/trunks to loot, and then re-zone and repeat.

The crafted gear with all prosperous is probably the best way to make gold. I did it for an hour and made ALOT of gold. Easiest way for someone who is newer is to do it this way. Problem is that it's probably the most boring way to do it and even though I couldn't believe how much I made I just didn't have the patience for it.

With that way you could also make your rounds in that pub dungeon where spriggans drop. Get lucky and get a sharpened sword and sell it for 300k.

I've not even been to a public dungeon, done a lot of delves but group dungeons seemed a little better since the mobs drop some gold.
