Don't quite follow your question? Remember once you have summoned the bear you can use the ultimate again and it will do a 'Ferocious slash' (Or something) which does quite decent damage to it's target.

✭Feels lackluster to me too, so for now (only level 30, no weapon ults available) I'm using the ice storm ultimate and loving it to bits.
The bear is weak, keeps getting lost, and stands in the way for things.PC-EU5 -

Furinol✭✭I'm enjoying the stam warden so far.
Non Min/Maxed character - orc archer with a bear. Basically trying to recreate my vanilla WoW hunter.
There are certainly times where I wish the bear was different (console pet attack command please) but I am used to pets having issues like lousy pathing etc. Bear isn't perfect but happy to have him around.
Great to see a class with useful stam morphs (a stam heal I don't have to pvp to get? yay!).

✭The bear does seem to hit hard when it hits. Its basic attacks are hitting for 2k. Once in a while it will stand on two legs and knock opponents down. That attack has good numbers. The ultimate active hits even harder. The problem is the bears attacks often seem to never connect with opponents unless they stand still. ✭✭✭✭✭I swear all these 'doom and gloom' Warden posts... most are L2P issues since why is it other players are able to get higher DPS with them and others cannot... perhaps it's because they refuse to stop trying to play them like a Sorc and figure out another way to play the Warden.
As for the bear, the only problem I have with it is that it keeps disappearing/reappearing... but then again I tend to kill everything before it is even needed anyway. The bear beats Clannfear because it never dies, it doesn't make annoying sounds, and it doesn't take up two slots on the main bar; I rarely ever need to use an ultimate anyway so the fact it's damage isn't great doesn't bother me... for the most part I use it to maintain Necropotence and to have a fighting companion.CP: 2105 ** ESO+ ** ~~ ***** Strictly a solo PvE quester *****

Vulture051✭✭✭Give it a 30sec duration when not slotted. IE It'll remain active when you switch to your back bar but you obviously won't be able to use the swipe and it'll despawn if you stay there too long.

when it comes to the bear it's not a l2p issue. unlike the clannfear this pet that takes up two ultimate slots does not taunt. it can no longer be targeted by any warden heal - a nasty change from the beta. it's dps is about on par with a sorc's clannfear. it has collision and is large. it likes to disappear into walls a lot and not return until you unslot and reslot the skill to resummon him.
his activate-able is cheap but only useful at sub 25% mob health, which means you really aren't using it as often per fight for good results as it's cheap cost would let you believe.

Because warden wasn't supposed to be a straight dps class. That's why they have 1 heal tree, 1 tank tree, and 1 dps tree - compared to the 2 dps trees, 1 other tree that most classes have.PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!

I'm a little confused by this part of your post. I haven't come across any bears with collision yet, and I've never had to unslot and reslot the bear to resummon him. There are times he disappears into walls or water, though, but then he reappears again when I move. I have the magic damage morph (respawns) and I'm on a PC. I'm wondering if other people have experienced what you're experiencing too?... it has collision and is large. it likes to disappear into walls a lot and not return until you unslot and reslot the skill to resummon him.
