Antidotes for poisons

Let's get some new alchemy reagents and the ability to craft antidotes that negate the affects of poisons. This would add a counterplay to the toxicity (pun intended) that is poisons in PVP. What's your thoughts guys?

Actually, this is one of the least stupid "Add This!" ideas I've seen on here in a while. A cure poison or cleanse effect for potions. Sounds useful without being OP.

Poison resistance potions. That actually should be a thing.

Or make the Snakeblood passive actually do something.

    Better yet, both.

I love the idea of having the Snakeblood passive be a counter for Resource Poisons...

I would throw 3 points into that without hesitation...

Hell, I'd throw 20 into it if it would protect me from having my Resources Drained...

Could even be CP passive, carefully placed in the CP tree to help with balance -
You might invest hell lot of points in maxing out your damage/whatever you do today, but then you'd remain vulnerable to potions.
Or you could invest more CP in something else but the CP tree would grant you immunity to certain poison effects.
    More choice - different benefits.

If they did do it with champion points then it wouldn't really help to solve the problem of poisons in PVP since most campaigns except 1 are non CP.

I think ZOS is against putting outright combat bonuses on crafting passives despite them technically being available to everyone. The closest thing to this currently is the extended food and drink buff duration granted by Provisioning passives though these have no real affect on actual combat.

I made this comment once in a thread about improving provisioning...

I could see some new recipes...

Decrease health, magicka, and stamina by X%, immune to all poisons for 2 hours. Legendary
Decrease health by X%, immune to all poison damage for 2 hours. Epic
Decrease magicka by X%, immune to all magicka related poison for 2 hours. Epic
Decrease stamina by X%, immune to all stamina related poison for 2 hours. Epic

Could even add in a new Perfect Roe type item that drops off lvl 1 critters at an ungodly bad rate.

I still like the idea of it.

Drinking a potion should cure you off of poison and give 50% resistance for a short time or 25% resistance for a long time.. Its up to developers

You are probably right, but since they recently made major CP changes, and overhauled alchemy not long ago, it's hard to imagine them revisiting those topics.

But we really do need some sort of counters to poisons. Even if it's only lootable/purchasable in-game potion drops you can't craft.

I call Medicinal Use an outright combat bonus, it makes Immovability and Stealth potions last 3.7 seconds longer!

It may not sound like much but I call that huge.

Yeah, Medicinal Use is standard on pretty much every build.
