Could even be CP passive, carefully placed in the CP tree to help with balance -
You might invest hell lot of points in maxing out your damage/whatever you do today, but then you'd remain vulnerable to potions.
Or you could invest more CP in something else but the CP tree would grant you immunity to certain poison effects.
More choice - different benefits.
Or make the Snakeblood passive actually do something.
Better yet, both.
I could see some new recipes...
Decrease health, magicka, and stamina by X%, immune to all poisons for 2 hours. Legendary
Decrease health by X%, immune to all poison damage for 2 hours. Epic
Decrease magicka by X%, immune to all magicka related poison for 2 hours. Epic
Decrease stamina by X%, immune to all stamina related poison for 2 hours. Epic
Could even add in a new Perfect Roe type item that drops off lvl 1 critters at an ungodly bad rate.

I think ZOS is against putting outright combat bonuses on crafting passives despite them technically being available to everyone. The closest thing to this currently is the extended food and drink buff duration granted by Provisioning passives though these have no real affect on actual combat.

I call Medicinal Use an outright combat bonus, it makes Immovability and Stealth potions last 3.7 seconds longer!
It may not sound like much but I call that huge.
