This is pathetic. Tons of people have expressed concern about the servers being able to handle this and once again you toss the concerns to the side. Especially when you have to pay for the expansion

This is beyond frustrating. They knew how many preorders were sold and should not have been surprised about how many people would come back to ESO.

It's easy to blame Xbox. Funny thing is ESO is never listed as one of the games having issues. I can get on 3 other digital multiplayer games with no issues at this moment.

At this current time I only see Friday the 13th listed as having issues.

From my perspective ESO does not mesh well with Xbox live.

Not for LIVE itself. If it were only ZOS, the crush of players could be a viable cause.

But if LIVE is down, no ONE game will have that effect.

Not buying the xbox live down excuse. That has nothing to do with PC and PS4. They are experiencing problems as well. The servers are overloaded and that's it. They are unprepared just like with ESO was first launched.

I can probably assume the staff at ZOS are freaking out like a poked beehive right now and are rushing for damage control.

At least i was able to make my Warden and get her to lvl4. But i tried buying 5500 crowns just before the disconnect and the store wouldnt update my ingame crown balance.

I've just tried two other multiplayer games. No issues whatsoever.....This is typical of game companies. They do not prepare for the influx of people, they underestimate. They don't want to spend the extra money to have servers online ready to go.

They can blame Microsoft all they want, that does not explain PC and PS4 gamers have the exact same issues.....

We spent money on the figurine and another digital copy for our second xbox in the house. Money well spent....or at least we thought...

@ZOS_GinaBruno - As a system engineer, when things go wrong... we tend to find the first easy answer. In this scenario, I don't believe it's anything having to do with Microsoft.

Considering the Microsoft Service issues as per Microsoft are related to Content Purchasing and the game "Friday the 13th", I don't see how this ESO issue is related.

Now if there are underlying services on ESO that are also impacted by whatever is impacting these two items outlined on Microsoft's website, it might be helpful to go a little more into detail so people don't share the same skepticism as I do.

Now, I'm not telling anyone how to do their jobs(even though I bet I could help them get done

), but just making a suggestion in attempts to quell the uproar from disbelievers assuming this really is an Xbox Live related issue.

Just my $.02.... with all that, it might have even been 3.

Meanwhile while others on Xbox live are playing online games.....

Specific issues listed on Xbox.com for other games but NEVER Elder Scrolls Online but when ESO has issues ZeniMax blames Xbox live......

So please ZOS explain how no issues exist other than buying new stuff and playing Friday the 13th but you've been having issues for 4 days and it's Xbox lives fault?

Is Xbox live crashing the PC NA server too?
