Magica sorc has 1 skill that puts it ahead of other classes for open world combat - that´s streak. Imagine a sorc without streak. Nobody would play the class. It´s literally that one skill that is in essence all that makes the sorc class.

In ranged singletarget a magblade outperforms a sorc.
A templar still offers vastly more utility than a sorc does and can go toe to toe with them 1v1 (if a sorc wants to access their utility they loose out on combat effectiveness).
DK is - well dk is simply not good.

Bare in mind i also think that sorc should not be able to stack harness + hardened. Taking away harness stacking alone would ravage the classes playability for a lot of people.

So would you specify - what situation are we looking at? Soloing smallgroup 2 to 4 medium grp 5 to 8 or anything larger?
The only situation i would see sorcs ahead is soloing and smallgrp (with only other sorcs/wardens/nightblades) because they still have mobility.

Streak, of course, is the class-defining skill. But its the toolkit which supplements streak that makes the class "complete". Streak would be pointless on a Templar or DK.

Sorcs benefit every single PvP situation, from solo to zerging. Negate is still the best PvP ultimate.

Have you even played Sorc? The class I see LEAST right now since Morrowind early access was released is mag sorc because they aren't as great as people make them out to be in CP. In BGs I've heard they're doing alright, but not great compared to Magplar, MagDK, StamDK, Stamplar and procblades.

Superior mobility, Superior defence from damage resource pool, untouched sustain.

The other main defense mechanic in this game works with crit, max resource, weapon/spelldmg. It´s one of the drawbacks of shields that they only scale of max resource and nothing else not an advantage.

Sustain via harness is broken and should not exist in combination with hardened. I don´t think dark deal is an issue anymore.

Mobility. Well - what would sorc be without streak? The class is defined through this one skill in pvp. A sorc without streak would not be played and probably the worst class out of all currently.

I´d play a templar or nb with streak over sorc no questions asked.

DK is just in a very weird spot atm - and i´ve never played one outside of leveling. Cant comment on that.
