Does anyone like the bow heavy attack auto firing change?

    No.

I sometimes run around as a sniper in PvP. This change in tandem with the others effectively kills the playstyle. Back to melee, and the same, boring combo everyone uses.

I wish ZOS wasn't against toggles. This could use a toggle.

The holographic shield blocking animation drives me nuts and I wish so much for a toggle. The dodge roll glowing green feet should also have one. These things should be able to be disabled on the user side. Show on everyone, only show on others, off. Alow some customization on the user side.

Nope, I prefer the way it worked originally.

I lie it auto-firing, and here is why:

    1) No longer will it accidentally be a hair over the full amount necessary for full damage and full resources. I can't mess it up.
    2) I'm already accustomed to every other weapon working this way.
    3) Why would I want to hold one button when I could be doing other things to increase my damage?

I hate it. It takes a chunk of the fun out of using a bow.

Like when I'm about to hit a boss in a dungeon. I want to carefully line up my bow, draw back the string, and wait for the right moment to release. It's fun that way. They destroyed that, and now it's not fun.

It aims for you as long as you get anywhere close.....

Go play a first-person-shooter game if you like that sort of gameplay. Even the older ones have weapons you could charge up and hold for the perfect moment and they never change.
FYI, I play first-person-shooter games when I want that sort of gameplay too, which is relatively often also.

That's not the "toggle" they are against. (insert /notthedroids meme)
The ones you described are visual settings that are turned off or on, and I think there are addons for that but not sure.
The skill activating after intended duration or not is actually, if anything, a bug when it wouldn't automatically fire when compared to other weapons. It is also not just visual.

The toggles they are against are things like Bound Armor and Siphoning Strikes and pets that require a permanent spot on both skill bars to stay active and require no active input to refresh.
They want us to be 20-fingered mutants(10 on both hands) to be able to press all 6 skil lbuttons as much as possible while still light attacking and moving.

That's kinda my point I remember logging onto pts and seeing the block and dodge animation and thinking what the hell is this.

For something visual it should have been incredibly easy to add I toggle setting. The bow heavy attack is mechanical. If they are against adding toggles for visual affects they aren't going to do something mechanical. The visual effect caused some outrage when they couldn't be disabled and nothing happened.

As to why they can't please all parties with these changes I can't possibly imagine.

Yes. Gankers (aka the most toxic gameplay in ESO) can't gank without actually involving a little bit of skill now.

Yeah because the forums have been raging about bow gankers. Must have missed it amidst the numerous threads about stacked proc sets.

Not relevant and toxic. Come on

They don't want to please all parties. It's a lead designer and publisher choice.
Games have always been made by those who want a game they want to play, and they just find a way to convince publishers to let them do it.
