ZOS' workforce is not big enough to maintain what the currently have, which is why it takes 6 months to get anything fixed. They need to constantly keep bringing in money, which means new stuff to keep people playing, but unfortunately they can't fix bugs and make new stuff at the same time...

ZOS has made 2.5 billion dollars, they can afford staff.

Pfft.
The lag in the game, in the regular every-day PvE areas is so bad, I haven't even given a thought to Trials. I get DC'd in *** Delves if there's too many people farming a Delve Boss.
I have no interest in trying a Trial, where forward progress is so much more important, and getting DC'd for no other reason than just trying to fulfill my Role in the Group.
This game is such a broken mess...
But it HAS been a great motivation for trying out some other games that have been gathering dust in my hard drive. Those games have been great, ESO? Not so much.
And the lack of attention/discussion from ZOS has just been the added 'kick in the nuts" that finishes off the situation ever so beautifully.

I think the game is certainly bugged and ZoS has some issues, but it isn't nearly as terrible as everyone makes it out to be and most people aren't going to quit, despite making those empty threats.

Not so sure, I have tried to defend ZOS bit seriously this is pretty bad. 2+ years of the same broken things. To this day I can't go to Elden root or Orsinium because I DC and get stuck. Lag in pvp has never waivered. Trials are as broke as they ever were. Seen many of my friends leave and from there I don't log in as much. So it is happening.

Yeah, we have had people leave too, but they do not stay gone. They come back. I'm not saying things do not need fixed, because they absolutely do. ZoS is lucky this game has more than just a META PVE content.
