Okay, so maybe it was my DoTs wrecking him and not the Environmental stuff, but it was still kind of a sobering moment when the nail was finally starting to be driven in about how incredibly easy and simple the PvE Questing has become, especially for fully CP'd characters.

I finally got werewolf on my new warden so i'm leveling his WW skills... by having all of them slotted in his human form and just killing the mobs using light attacks.

The only skill i am using is leeching vines on my offbar, but even that rarely (if i find an elite mob whose attacks cannot be easily sidestepped). Everything else i just whack/whack to death, and it's not even slow :smirk:

Best way to lvl werewolf skills is to stay in the quest instance killing the animals till you're maxed

Best(fastest) way is to find a densely populated area with monsters that respawn fast, and then stay in WW form forever, feeding on your kills. Normally i do that, but this time i took a relaxed approach - not in any hurry to max out the skills, just killing mobs along the way as i collect skyshards.

defeated the Boss in 14 seconds.

How is this any different than it was before One Tamriel or Pre Champ Ranks? The last time I had any issues with this boss was during the first 6 months after release while on a leveling character. Even then, it only took a couple of attempts to figure out the Mechanics. Which, by the way, are given to you during the precedent quest for this.

There are challenges in PvE, just not in the zone quests. Always been this way really.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

And now people are QQing that the content is too easy. No matter what they do, someone's gonna QQ.

OP, where did you find a boss btw?
That monster - on your clip - is not a boss, not even champ, just a strong monster.

And yet he is the main threat to Glenumbra...

Angof masquerading as faulchu? What foul sorcery is this?

He is a corpse animated by a hedge mage (*Verbally flips off Angof*), diminished by his only weakness, fire. Yeah, he's going to keel over quick.

And I totally understand your concern with game difficulty, truly I do. Just try to frame it from another perspective, though. New players have a hard time with this fight. This isn't about content being easy, this is entirely a discussion of player power.

And the last time the Devs weren't happy with our power levels, the sustain changes happened. So you know, if you want to one day struggle to take on a barely elite tier enemy mob, I do want to see how you'd feel about a then scaled up maelstrom too.

As a few others have pointed out, that boss was so easy because the fire is meant to weaken him. A bunch of the big zone questline bosses have weaknesses like that, at least from what I've played so far.

And as others have pointed out, the content is only trivial because of CP points and good gear / set bonuses / good food, none of which new players have. To ramp up the difficulty by a significant amount would just turn new players away.

yet i bet if instead of doing a monologue theyd launch their attacks while ac-ing you, youd lose well over 50% of your health every single time and maybe even come close to dying now and then. This doesnt make the fight longer or more challenging. But thats how this game is balanced, where as for me, it probably takes me almost over a minute to kill that boss. But he doesnt even dent my health even though he has time to rotate through all his skills twice.

Its just that ZOS has no clue how to balance DPS. Truth is it needs to be lowered (ceiling) a lot. This isnt a FPS. DPS characters should be dodging and avoiding damage while killing the boss, its OK to have the dps need to unleash 12+ attacks to kill a lowly 1 diamond boss. They cant up the dmg resistance or hp on the bosses because the non dps characters would litteraly be spending hours killing htem while still not even getting their hp dented.

I mean all of it (balance) is up for debate and all, but the problem I see is that the DPS ceiling is way too high, the bigger the difference in DPS output from one character to the next, the harder it is to balance. And allowing animation cancelling (im not opening that debate here, just stating it) makes it even harder because from one player to the next depending on build and setup and skill usage, that doubles the gap.

You people and your complaints... Folks want this game to be more like other Elder Scrolls games, and yet...
What Elder Scrolls game -didn't- end up with you being basically a god, hacking through bosses left and right eventually?

Foulchu is the Boss of the Camlorn Quest, and a Mini Boss of the main Glenumbra Quest, before you go handle Angof.

That was usually because I enabled the Console and turned on Godmode. And mayyybe enhanced the damage of my weapons by 100x. ;)
