I havent even touched my MagDK before morrowind fearing that heavy armor will be complete trash. I am currently running 5 seducer 2 bloodspawn and 3 will power. I am thinking if I should put 5 lich and 5 seducer with Sword and Board on both bars. Would that still work?

Only need lich bonus on 1 bar so it's better getting another set in place of it on other bar.

I like to run Vampire on magDK, that's why I dont run Lich. If you are pressured during Lich proc and have to use Elusive Mist, you will negate most of the Lich effect. From my experience, it happened really often. Better choice than Lich is Alteration Mastery.

I am now considering to non-CP environment: heavy seducer + BSW (or possibly Spinner) with SnB front bar and Resto staff back bar.

I'm currently playing in a 5 light setup, but heavy is still the baseline go-to for mag DK in PvP.

Heavy is still a bit too stronk because of the sustain from constitution (even after Morrowind patch changes) combined with capacity to do high burst damage and of course very high phys/spell resistances.

IMO light and medium passives need a slight buff to bring them up to the same level. Would be nice to see in future update for example, spell damage bonus added for light armor passive and physical penetration for medium.

If you have a lot of AP, you can play RNG roulette with the set boxes in Cropsford. Otherwise, you can buy from guild stores.

Why not the vestments of the warlock? Its give only 1k less bonus mag regen than lich but gives it instantly. Thus negating the one bar issue with lich. IDK im a stamDK. They have the same 2, 3 and 4 peice bonuses aswell...

From what I've heard, most Mag DKs are running Light or Medium - rarely heavy.

tell me you are kidding.. it gives 500 magicka and stamina every 4 second if you get hit constantly. so usually its around 60-80 magicka stamina return every second if you are not sitting in an enemy zerg group which you will die after few seconds anyway. so you need more than a minute just to use 1 aoe. do you think its op?
