PATCHNOTES FOR BATTLEGROUNDS

All major issues we currently enjoy on PC are listed down below, please read first inbefor you comment.

GENERAL

- Prime Time Hours we get stuck in 'group forming', we can rarely get into BGs.
- 4v4v4 is quiet rarely the case, sometimes it doesn't fill up the emty slots.
- Premate Groups can queue in against solo Players, this one needs be seperate.
- Premate Groups and high solo expierenced Players (lv50) can queue with low levels.
- Capture the Flag and Domination is called in leaderboards 'Flag games' and 'Land grap'. The game modes should be called the same as they are in the Loadscreen. Otherwise it confuses players which game mode it actually is.
We know you are planing on more game modes, but for the time beeing just leave the names as they are 'Deathmatch', 'Domination' and 'Capture the Flag'.
- As soon as 1 Team ragequits or to less players playing the current ongoing game, the game will stop and you get loadscreened back to your queue-location you queued in. Not to mention you don't get any reward.
- Poisons are way to powerfull in BG's, we are already without CP and 30% increased costs is just overkill. Poisons have their place in Cyrodiil but we don't want them in BG's!
- The roatating Spinners in the middle of a certain BG area doesn't add to your kills when you activate those to kill the ones below.
Killing allies with spinners should cost you a kill on the scoreboard.
- Proc Sets are way to strong in Non-CP, they oneshot everything below 20k HP.
Added Issues
- Inactivity cooldown is to short.
- Ranking Leaderboard:
Highest Score each game adds once to leaderboard. Everytime you top yourself, leaderboard is updating your rank.
This change makes the leaderboards more competitive as they are right now in Cyrodiil, alot of players hating the fact BG Leaderboards are farmable by the one playing it 24/7.
- Disconnects and Gamecrashes often lead into penalty of 20minutes, this is not intended and shouldn't be the case.
- When a group member leaves the Battlegrounds in an ongoing match, he should get replaced by the system.

Capture The Flag

- Capturing the Flag debuffs you after a time upto 100%, you can't get any heal or shield off, we agree you should get debuffed but not for 100%. This is not fun because you can't even drop the flag without dying.
- Stamina Builds can simply outrun magica players at most of all times.

Domination

- This game mode is all about cancerous-run builds and avoiding combat. It needs totally reworked, its not enjoyable.

Added Issues & Solutions
- Make a flag not turn even if one team outnumbers another team, make them fight for the point.
- Make killing a player from the leading team, loosing points in the score. (Each Flag turn +15, each kill of leading Team - 5)
This change avoids players (leading team) mindlessly capture flags without carrying of dying.

Deathmatch

- Kills are badly designed, I can hit someone for 95% health and someone else slots execut and gets the kill, this sucks even more on magica dk where you rely on damage over time.
- The double-Buff is an issue the way it works at the moment. Players with higher movement actually almost everytime gets the double-Buff while classes like templars and dk's slack behind if they are not close to it.
Add a counterplay to the double-Buff like reduced movement speed/detection otherwise stamina nightblades onebang everyone they see and escape every single time without an disadvantage.
OVERPERFORMING SETS & ABILITIES
- Overperfoming Monster set in Battlegrounds like Trollking and Tremorscale ruining the gameplay expierience simply because these overperforming by its tankability and proc chance.
- Purifying Light and its morphs are currently so broken they one bang everyone with extrem high damage output. Make it store they casters damage only.

Edited: Added Issues
- The amount of AP we earn per battleground for wins and losses are to poorly. (3'000AP per win), 15'000 to 20'000 would be nicer.
- [Known Issue] We can't decide which game mode we want to play, let us choose.
- Reset Ultimates at the beginn of every game.

    Yep, just add MMR for more competitive games and better leaderboards.

    These are all obvious issues every player sees....and I'm sure it will take ZOS at least a year to implement any of it.

    All we need a real ranking system and CP. PVP is not casual, I can't understand why it would be treated as such...

    3k Ap is what you get by killing 2ppl in cyrodiil.

    You can get kicked for sneaking around, you get new members half way in the game.

    I like how you added "all major issues we currently enjoy on PC". How has stuff this broken not been top priority (probably because of the release of morrowind but still).

    Sure ... if one of them is the Emperor. 90% of Cyrodiil kills are for less than 500 AP. Many are for like 17 AP.

    On the other hand you get 1500 for taking a resource and 6000 for a keep. 3000 per every 15 minutes is a good reward that won't lead to "The Emperor of Battlegrounds".

    You forget that kills during the fights in BGs don't give AP.

    no, a normal solo kill is 1500 AP, or even 1800 whit the AP boost.
    however that is only true when you really are solo and not when playing in a large group whit AP penalty and where AP is divided among group members.

    Well, this is the same company that had unplayable FPS for a month, unsusable doors in Cyrodiil for years, and continues to have terrible lag. Reaaaaally not surprising.

    so it begins, nerf this buff that i am fine hes not. This is unfair that should be banned. Honestly the only pvp you will be happy with is if everyone has a light and a heavy attack. And the complaints will start about how slow heavy attacks are and they don't do enough damage. please if you want fair and balanced pvp play pong.

    Uneven team sizes really should not happen (loaded into a deathmatch last night where it was me vs.3 vs. 4) - I did not win.
    Fix the ready check issue - I find it hard to believe that so many people are rejecting a game when they have queued so assuming there is a bug here... but if there really are people just queueing-rejecting-queueing-rejecting then...
    Implement a ready check rejection cool down before they can re-queue, like 5 mins on the first reject but increasing for additional rejections. Not fair to mess 11 other players around.

    One thing i have been thinking about is the defector penalty.
    it does not seem to be enough to discourage people from leaving one sided games.
    i have had so many games where people just dropped out the last minute to deny us the victory.

    it's also not cool to give people a penalty for crashing or disconnecting unwillingly.

    so since giving people "sticks" in this way does not seem to be ideal how about giving them "carrots" instead and lower the penalty for defecting and increase the reward for participating instead?

    I completely agree with the useless, pointless, excremental BG leaderboards.

    Ranking system needs to be implemented. If not, leaderboards need to be changed to be trial-like. Only your best score is counted.

    Currently, the 1st is not one with the best performation but one who spent most damn time there. This crap shows only who has the most time to play. Can't be used as measure of skill, can't be used anyhow.

    Proccsets also needs tuning down a notch or 3 in cyrodiil imo.

    Couple of honorable mentions: Viper, Selene, Velidreth, Trollking, ValkynSkoria, Widowmaker and Tremorscale(still permsnares)

    Proc sets should have been FULLY tuned, one by one, in Homestead. Now they're trying retcon in the massively over performing sets one at a time with each incremental patch. It's spotty and it will only get worse since they're still adding new sets (proc or non).

    The game needs one patch that is literally JUST item balance--boring, but necessary.

    They did lower the damage already from proc sets but its not enough, it still oneshots me from 20khp+

    Remove the sigil buff alltogether. Getting kills with or getting killed by a ridiculous buff mechanic that imbalances already pretty imbalanced grouping (2v4v4 with random groups fighting premades etc) is no fun.

    Otherwise it's pretty ok despite the obvious lack of decent leaderboard rankings and ladder system. Procsets are lame but we've been qqing about those for ages now so I doubt there will be a change. I've given up on hope.

    But hey at least it's not a 24 man grp chasing you down ^^

    Not really a bug, but please stop the endless flow of trash gear into our mailboxes. Just make the gear available for AP and slightly increase the AP reward. I'm getting so gd sick of the inventory bloat.

    Aaaand here we go, more nerfs incoming because ppl demand whole game gets changed because of imbalance in a minor fracture of the whole game.

    I can understand BG needs balance but we all know what happens when it comes to balance...
