For self healing in combat, not out of.

So basically anyone who plays solo and doesn't have a heal have to un-slot, re-slot (because we don't have a dismiss button) and then re-summon the pet to get it back to full health after each fight! Ridiculous.

I use the clannfear and the same button/key that summons them heals when they are active. So I have no need to unsummon my clannfear........I just heal him.

Hey guys, apologies for the delay. We got some answers tracked down for you and this is, actually, intended behavior. There were some changes for pets that went in back on the PTS, and unfortunately the patch notes for the changes were missed. Here are the things we changed and what is currently live:
Removed passive healing from summoned pets.
Increased a pet's damage reduction to radius attacks to 85% from 75%. This bonus applies to all attacks in Trials.
Clannfear pets no longer taunt enemies in Trials."

The only issue I find it weird I can't heal the Unstable Clannfear, all the other pets can be healed by burst AOE or cone spells except the Demon Puppy. The only spell I found to heal that is the Templar's Cleansing Ritual and its morphs. I'm sure once they find that out, it too will be removed from healing the Unstable Clannfear.

Did you not read the part where I said not having a heal?... Pet heal would be considered a slotted heal...
Clearly I was not referring to the people who have the morph heal...
Not all pet morphs have heal as the active ability - some have damage.Hippie4927 wrote: »Bryong9ub17_ESO wrote: »Hippie4927 wrote: »Bryong9ub17_ESO wrote: »

Excuse me if I am dense but I am not understanding. I only use clannfear so I don't know about other summoned pets. My heal is not a separate slot.......it is the same slot that summons my clannfear. In other words, clannfear comes with a heal and, if I'm not mistaken, so does twilight. What summoned pet do you use?
Please don't jump my ass if I am not understanding.......I'm trying.

OP I agree. However, they also made one other idiotic change that no one seems to be mentioning. Pets will now switch targets to whatever enemy you heavy attack. If I want my pet to switch targets, I want the choice to do it manually. I don't want my pet leaving the mob they are supposed to be tanking to go chase an add that I'm cleaning up...
They should have left pets alone, period.

Agree. There should be an option in game settings, where you can set up how your pet will target enemies (heavy attack or Y + left/right click).
