When I see 4,5,6 guys running in with red circles I mist and move away, or hit an invis pot and move or whatever, its really not hard to get away from them. Situational awareness. Don't wait till the last minute.
Peeps really need to stop with the nerf bat calls on simple stuff that isn't broken.
Hate to pull this out, but it really is an L2P issue.
As long as most players in Cyro have the same movement patterns as the mobs in Skyreach, they will get farmed by organised groups. Nerfing destro ult won't change anything about that, you will just have different ultimates in your recap.
Don't know which one is more skill-less... the pug / zerg surfer that gets caught by gap close+CC+ 20 man organized AoE, or the 20-man organized group that AoE bombs pugs.
I would say the latter, since that can be done while watching netflix...

Things come. Things go. I blew way more people up with prox det and vicious death than I ever have with Eye, and that combo didn't rely on an ultimate. Then they nerfed it... several times <shrug>.

Vicious Death = Proc Set - Theres the problem he pointed out. You blow up alot of people with a proc set - not skill.
Organized group v Zerg and/or another Organized group is probably the only enjoyable part of Cyrodiil. Eye of the Flame is a big part of that. Group movement, negate timing, fake pushes, ulti-dropping etc—in that Atmosphere it honestly doesn't even feel like ESO, it almost feels like an actual competitive game where you can outplay other coordinated groups/the 30man pug zerg.
I used to only solo/duo play—Small scale—Small scale is dead, it was dead on OT, it was dead on homestead—Morrowind isn't out on Xbox yet and my PC acc has like 200cp, but I see nothing that makes me believe it won't continue to be dead in a weeks time. The Heavy Armor buff ruined it—and the sustain nerfs will keep it in the trash can. Obviously it's doable, it happens all the time—that doesn't change the fact that it's been utter garbage for months.
Healing is too strong—and healers are too tanky. Healing took a hit in Morrowind—but I don't think it's going to be enough, Stam regen from constitution took a hit—that's good, that was one of the many things creating these invincible Heavy Armor healers that have ruined Small Scale—I just don't think it's going to be enough.
Eye of the Flame and Negate have honestly been the lord and savior of PvP over the past two patches (OT, Homestead). Healers and Tanks need to be fearful of something—there needed to be a way of dealing with these builds when they're in mass numbers—and these two ultis are perfect for that, while also creating a way for Organized Groups to actually have decisive and reasonably fast paced fights. Did it hurt Small Scale as well? Yes, undoubtedly—however my argument is that until these builds are permantly brought to heel—Eye of the Flame must remain at it's current power.
The only way I would support a nerf to Eye of the Flame were if it came packaged with a soft-cap to health starting at 25k and the overall disabling of Heavy Armor in Cyrodiil.

I don't think proc means what you think it means.

Blazing shield healthplars used to be the best counter. For most, Eye means run away, for healthplars it meant gap close.
