Cheating new warden skill

    This exploit was reported during the closed beta. Guess we didn't scream and cry loud enough for it to be taken seriously.

    This. many concerns in regards to this skill were voalized and reported. teleporting alies has always been a problem from WoW to SWTOR

    Somehow i knew this would become an issue. Get rid of tel var stones being taken by enemy players. Problem fixed......

    But i'm curious, only time i PvP is to get Warhorn on my new toons.... what's the difference between the Warden's portal and the DK'S chain on players vs mobs?

    Chains had it's z-axis (vertical) pull fixed, this apparently has not.

    This should work on bosses too...would be awesome to grief the griefer by kiting the zone boss into the portal.

    I'd give up some stones for that.

    I have been using it in front of keep doors to teleport players that are trying to escape back to me and my group.

    More likely is that they need to come up with a way to block this and add it to the game. It wil be similar to the protection they put on keep walls to prevent pulls from the walls. Takes time. We'll see.

    I can't remember a beta of any game, where not most of the bugs and design flaws were taken into the live version.

    Sounds like Pve'er talking...
    First they almost ruined everything by making tv loot from other players 90%>50% and then they should remove it entirely. Oh nononono.

    DK chains have a height restriction because of stuff like that.

    Must check if this gets enemy players into the keep too. Specifically on inner since there's about 273 ways to get on outer anyway. I suggest we all go exploit this as hard as possible so ZOS can't ignore it til next major patch :D

    If it could be used to get enemies into the inner keep then this is a big issue. Would just take one troll warden in your alliance to throw down the rune and let an entire enemy army in. A group of reds, for example, could work with a single blue to get their entire group into the inner courtyard of a blue keep before even starting siege.

    Also players can't dodge cliff racers, EVER. So obviously getting into a group and casting just this will work for competitive gameplay right?

    Scarabs can ignore line of sight, and walls, and hit for 16k while stunning... probably not a problem.

    Fire rune on top of the Frozen Device rune... has some really interesting effects.

    and this is exactly why we can't have cool stuff. PvP crying ensues...

    For PvE, this is great when healers/DPS get agro. Just run to the rune and mobs get ported to the tank (Warden).

    Hoepfully they just disable in PvP...Make everyone happy...

    Summon an ancient portal up to 28 meters away with a 5-meter radius. Enemies that run over it are teleported to you and rooted for 3 seconds. You can only have 1 portal at a time and it is removed upon activation.

    I hope ZOS keeps this in the game! Now people will actually fear trying to kill people the moment they jump from their spawn. It's one of the most positive uses of this skill I can think of lol

    Frozen Gate is bugged in other ways too, guess I'll just quote myself:
