STOP RELEASING BROKEN CONTENT

Dear ZOS,

The reason why my friends and I bought Morrowind was exclusively for Battlegrounds. We were excited for the new way to experience PVP in the game. But there's one HUGE problem. We can't get into a match together. The queue finder is BROKEN. It was broken during PTS and it's broken on Live. Why do you keep releasing content that's broken, that you know is broken. The game is very fun when it works but with the 1) Lag 2) Class Imbalances 3) not being able to Queue, this game is unplayable for a good chunk of the time.

The base minimum expectation when I buy a product is that it actually works. Going forward, I'm going to have to stop pre-ordering ESO content until I'm sure what I'm buying works.

I wont lie.... everything else is ok BUT battle grounds. Zos this is pathetic!... ANY OTHER COMPANY would be like "*** we need to fix this asap and roll it out asap! But nah.... the player base has never been your concern has it zos.

How do you know that they ARE'NT working to fix it? Why do you assume that? I am absolutely certain that the developers are working on improving and solving the situation. Even with bets testing, it is an awfully damn complicated business getting these extremely complex applications to work the way they are conceived.

Some people have no patience at all. Chill out -- I am certain ZOS is aware of the problem and working on ways to make it better.

I disagree. Should never have gone live in that state. They did the same when ESO first launched and lost a ton of players because of it.

Patience doesn't come in to it. If I buy a piano and its unplayable or I buy a car and its undrivable, or I buy a phone and it won't make calls etc etc etc, would I not be right to complain, would people say they never should released the products in that state?

These problems aren't new unforeseen problems that have suddenly appeared since early access went live, people reported them in the closed beta, and many of us when we heard the PC date was being brought forward, shook our heads in disbelief as if anything, they needed to postpone it a few weeks to make sure its working properly.

While its your choice/right to stick up for them, its exactly your sort of behaviour that makes companies arrogant, thinking that no matter how broken a product, their fan base is big enough that many will sing their praises whatever.

Telling someone they have no patience because they complain that the product they bought, isn't working, well words fail me.

or as I think of it "final phase of testing"

I would expect everything to be working properly by "launch"

People buyin this game for many reasons and once they got ur money ...well they doesnt care about ur opinion and how u feel playing broken content and havin bad behaviour from company and doesnt matter either u r new player or 3+ years. Thats how things goin on here.

We have been trying to get a response about trials being broken on Xbox for over three months. They haven't done anything to help the situation so good luck with this.

That is simply not the case. Everything on PC is just simply better. On console, literally every trial is broken, and we still have a year old bugs that are yet to be fixed. We have more disconnects and freezes and lag and everything bad. PC players are not "beta testers" for the supposedly "real" release.

It is indeed early access, it's not officially live until next week. But I admire your optimism on everything working properly then...

This is exactlt why you should NEVER pre order anything, not even from companies you trust.

From a pure financial point of view if you have already paid for something the devs have no reason to keep working on it. They then get equal amount of money as if you had waited to buy it but for less work.

Early Acess has similar problems too.

(Though I don't consider the Morrowind early acess real "EA". In my eyes Morrowind got an early launch for PC. For it to be considered early acess to me the game must still be in some testing phase, that is not the case with Morrow)

Rookie mistake. At this point, surely you knew they were going to *** it up.

Overwatch is $38 right now man. Best value purchase I've made in a long time. If you haven't tried it, as a fellow PVP junkie, I highly recommend.

I'm skipping this "expansion".

I wish I never pre-ordered Morrowind. For a so called expansion it is lacking a lot of content. Main storyline is a joke, far to short. I have already done every quest in the zone, found every location. There is very little nodes to harvest and locked doors every where. I have not tried battlegrounds but according to the many posts they screwed that up to. I have played since eso released got all DLC's and this is the first one that left me feeling like I have been ripped off.

Best thing to do is not invest more money into the game if you aren't happy about it as a form of protest. Money gets everyone's attention.

There are still outstanding bugs, performance issues, and broken content since before IC was released. For how long do you suggest that we wait and have patience?

Just assume every content launch date is actually beta testing, and buy it later when ZOS finally fixes it and it becomes useable. It's been like this with virtually every piece of content or new skill, hell even the game was practically one giant beta test from launch - post imperial city.

Ppl complain they can't get early content then complain when it's not working if June 6 th happens and still does not work that's the only issue. As for ZOS quit putting out broken stuff.

I've said it before: ZOS made their own bed here when they advertised this as a surprise early launch, instead of a move from a closed beta to an open beta. The latter description would have made everyone happy and given us all a reason to excuse the game's existing bugs. The former, which they went with, simply raised expectations the actual content isn't yet in a position to fulfill.

Lesson learned. Never buy DLC's (or games) upon release, for the initial price. Not worth it. Buy it once it's on sale, once the value is as it should've been assigned from the very beginning. By then most problems are fixed (hopefully) and it won't hurt anymore.

"Old habits die hard", and ZOS (as many other mmo companies) have the habit of releasing dysfunctional content. We as customers can't change the way they do things, but we as customers do what we can. Simply by waiting a few months you can save yourself time, money and the headache of going though all of this trouble.

These contents depreciate over time and seasonal sales do get released, some go with a 80% discount. Wait for such opportunity. There will be no difference between a player that bought the DLC on release date and the one who bought it a year later (other than the former player having burned the content and being bored with it and having all the items and sets of said DLC compared to the latter).

No, you don't release half assed content, you release at least functioning product (then you can add something, but the base must be functioning).

We must not accept release of sloppy work as a community, otherwise what's stopping them from doing it?
Why should they release good content if they can still make money from it with half the work?

NEVER PRE ORDER, not even if the game looks good.

You as a player have no advantage out of preordering stuff, while the company can make an half assed product, and a wonderful trailer to sell thanks to pure hype.

Pre ordering is the cancer of modern gaming, don;t do it, you gain nothing from it while the company has all the advantages.

Sorry that you feel ripped off, but this is totally your fault, we must stop this preordering madness, otherwise companies will just keep releasing bad content, and still make money from it thanks to hype.

There's a high Possibility, this is my speculation:

The patch was sent to be approved by both Sony & Microsoft, let's say on the PC release day. After all approvals are done they gave ZOS the date the patch will go live. The same glitches, maybe more, maybe less will still happen unless a fix is pushed prior to those patches going live. But what are the odds.

I could be wrong as I said I was just speculating, only time will tell...
