the original beta. I am loving the PvE questing in Morrowind. For the first time since beta I am actually playing the content intently and not trying to rush as fast as possible. I certainly enjoyed Orsinium, Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild (in that order) as well as the original main story line, but most of the zone content was bland and repetative.
I mean, how many times does Queen Ayren need to be betrayed by those closest to her ...

Now just to be clear, I have not done any trials, PvP or dungeons yet as the lag is too great. I have just been focusing on the PvE and for the first time since playing ESO, it really feels like an Elder Scrolls game. No cookie cutter dungeons or quest lines. The music is spectacular and the graphics are great.

I have encountered some bugs, mobs attacking me before they are visible, the dissapearing arms of NPCs, some voice overs a little out of synch but none of that has spoiled the wonder and enjoyment for me.

Good job ZOS.

I did a few quests on Morrowind but it's overcrowded so I'm doing other things while waiting for things to cool down there.

I leveled my new Warden to L50 away from Morrowind, but now I'm back doing the dungeons. The dungeons are pretty amazing, I've actually gotten lost for a bit in some of the bigger ones. There's still a lot of people about, but not nearly as many as the first few days.

Im going to have to argue with the cookie cutter quest part. Maybe some aren't but I haven't hit them yet.
Oh hi I don't feel well. Go collect the things I need to make me better.

Sure that is new and cutting edge right there.

I agree: the quests in Morrowind are great. Even though the formula is pretty much the same as it's always been, the writing and characters make up for it, definitely. I've only covered about a third of Vvardenfell at this point, but what I've seen so far is quality stuff. For example, It was kind of amazing to watch the evolution of the primary character in the Balmora questline.

    Living vicariously through my characters.

    My Girls:
"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

(Signature idea shamelessly stolen from Abeille.)

the servers likely cannot take it, but I'd love to see lower pop instances for PVE.

The Update that came with Morrowind has all-but caused me to quit playing the game...

I haven't even been able to explore Vvardenfell or any of the Quests, because that abhorrent Update that came with Morrowind has simply killed my desire to even fire up the game client for my PC account.
    Having the most fun since...
I started re-investing in other MMORPG's, and cut my ESO time down to just a few minutes per week instead of the 14+ hours i used to spend in the game per week.

I haven't "Quit" ESO, but there's simply no reason to log in for any amount of time longer than to check my Mail once that Morrowind Abortion-Update hit this game.

I would be very wary of saying that around here, ESO may charge you crowns to access the forums.

I could just see it now in the crown store:

4000 crowns - 1 month access to eso Forum

People would pay and then cry about it then the next month the crown store would have a sale:

2000 crowns - 1 month access to eso Forum

People would jump up and down and say - that is a deal!

I'm truly sorry to hear that. I know what it's like to have a favorite game ruined by an expansion (DAOC ToA). I took a 3 month break from ESO so I am approaching it with a bit of a refreshed perspective and enjoying it immensely right now. I hope you find the joy in the game you once had again.

I agree. Vvardenfell is awesome; kudos to ZOS for making a zone that has interesting stories, is open to going wherever you want, and is varied. Best zone in the game by far, imo.
