AP and XP rewards for Battlegrounds

Have these rewards improved?

During the closed beta, it seemed I was only earning about half as much AP as I'd normally get just wandering around Cyrodiil (9-12k/hr vs 25k/hr), and I believe I was earning almost zero XP.

I suspect some of us who enjoyed this game mode will be in the BG most of the time. Would be nice if we could level up new characters in Battlegrounds and earn enough AP to buy monster helms each weekend.

AP gain is low but who cares? We have Cyrodiil for horses and green numbers.

Rewards/AP is abysmal in BGs.

i got 2000 AP per match and you get a mail with a piece of gear. In the 5 matches I played, I got 4 pieces of the "Coward's" set (two training gg) and one reinforced knight slayer breeches.

seriously disappointed in the rewards system. and as far as i can tell there is no BGs ranking system outside of leaderboards maybe? but you dont actually get a BGs rank like you do in cyro.

The most Ive made is about 5k ap in a match against nobodies where I ended up going 22:0. Got 2 mails for that game and one had 2 pieces of purple gear. Still, for 10 minutes only making 5k ap is atrocious.

9-12k AP an hour would be total trash! I can easily get 100k+ hour in Cyrodiil without even trying.

The point is if you really enjoy battlegrounds and want to just do that instead of Cyrodiil, it's too slow leveling up new characters in battlegrounds and not enough AP to buy stuff.

No you gain all rewards including AP at the end of a game. I think the base AP for a game is 2k with a slight scaling based on winning/medals earned in the game but like @asneakybanana said 5k is the max he's seen in one game, the most I've gotten was like 4.5k. And the daily quest for playing 5 games only gives you 2k.

Wow the quest only provides 2K, and that's once per day, right? Does it provide XP?
