Unsure why someone, especially someone who claims to be a tank for trials, is stating they are happy they did not buy the expansion.
It seems to be calling out for attention since you are not able to join your friends in the action of tanking the new trial. No other reason I can see for creating this thread other than for attention.
I'm happy because it's a dumpster fire and it will hopefully be somewhat fixed by the time morrowind goes on sale.
Also fyi the cp system is broken and zos has no idea.
LOL. why are so many enjoying it if it is a dumpster fire? Answer is because it is not. Only issue is BG GF.
Gotta love melodramatic responses when the person making the comment knows nothing about it other than reading posts in the forums. OP, just a reality check, a great many in the forums flame at anything.
But who cares, enjoy not tanking the new trial. Another reality check, others are getting cemented into tanking roles with various groups so when you actually do buy the expansion you just might have a tougher time than already getting into a group to tank it.
It's not even out yet on xbox.
As far as I know, Bethesda (who created the original games) does not work on ESO.

But the direction of Morrowind and especially the marketing is all Bethesda. Bethesda is the one who pressured ZOS out of their content schedule so there could be a fancy box set because substantially fewer people would buy an expensive anniversary set if you could just rent the content inside with ESO+.
Bethesda blew a lot of money on a Super Bowl ad that a lot of people didn't even see because it was promoted as being during the game instead of pre-game.
I said in the beta forum that in a few weeks we'd see if Morrowind was worth what Bethesda thought it was worth. Because if we move into July and August and people aren't really talking about the chapter or its story content anymore, then it was just a cash grab the same way the 40th anniversary of Star Wars has been a cash grab. Only unlike Star Wars, which has a new movie coming out at the end of the year that progresses the lore, for the foreseeable future TES fans are just going to get prequels that lack any sort of suspense or impact.
The biggest mistake ESO ever made isn't that it wasn't Skyrim 2. It's that Bethesda didn't allow it to progress the lore past Skyrim so it was forced to work in the past.
Zenimax is parent company and own both Bethesda and ZoS.grim_tactics wrote: »As far as I know, Bethesda (who created the original games) does not work on ESO.

Don't know how much I agree with this.
Isn't Zenimax the parent company of Bethesda? Cause ZOS could'be done anything they damn well pleased but chose to go backwards and do the past. It's also my understanding that they turned to Bethesda for a lot of the lore help and such to try and make it fit into the universe that is there.
I think you got it backwards. It's ZOS going for the cash grab while pressuring Bethesda to go along for the ride.
